Please help - do i let go?

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years, i never really fancied him but fell in love with his personality. Recently, due to this Ive been looking at other fellas. We dont have a sex life as he is not interested - and i definately am!! He just doesnt make my heart leap and never shows any affection towards me, tho he says he loves me. Im 30 now and scared that I will be single for a long time, or never meet anyone as i dont have many friends and dont meet men. What should i do?? Put up with the way my boyfriend is or set myself to be single???

I am 46 and spent 11 years with a man just like yours, I cared about him greatly but he was unaffectionate and sex only happened about once every 3 months. like you I thought that I would never find any one else I WAS WRONG!!!!!

I made up my mind to leave one day and move 800 miles back home with my child and met someone else.

That was 5 years ago, now I couldnt be happier, we are getting married in 8 weeks.

my new partner is so attentive, treats me like princess, cooks, cleans and is a wizzard in bed. I keep having to pinch myself to make sure its all true.

You too will meet someone else if your relationship is not working for you then leave you cant stay just because you are scared of being on your own

I think a relationship needs a mix between physical and emotional, not be one sided. If your not happy then move on hun. Actually to both of you (Tara too). You'll find someone! Doesn't matter what age you are!
