My problem is that my boyfriend has ALOT of female friends compared to the amount of male friends he has. Today i've read an article about "signs he will cheat" and one of them was that they have alot of female friends and that these will turn into a sexual relationship at some point.

Does anyone think this is true?? or can men really have a relationship with a woman without being sexually attracted to them??

Also do you think there is something wrong with a man if he only has female friends and hardly any male friends??

Hi, i can totally see where your coming from and why your slightly worried as i have felt the same in the past. I agree with it all depends on him as a person and how you feel he is around these girls. I used to worry, but then forgot that i have male friends and i am really close to 1 in particular to the point where past boyfriends have been jealous and his girlfriends, and nothing has ever happened between us and never will but only we know that. So i think you need to think about what you'd be like around male friends and you feel if you'd be able to be freinds without feeling things and things happening, then just trust him otherwise its going to eat away at you and probably spoil things anyway. If somethings going to happen, it will weather your stressed about it or not! i've had so many people say this to me...make him want you and love the happy you and show him how much better than these other girls you are!!!! trust me!!!!

How would he feel if you had alot of male friends? not all female friendships turn into a sexual relationship,but it depends on how adment he is in sticking with you, that he doesnt need a female for anything else but friendship. as long as they know thats all that he can offer them.

yes i think men can have relationship with a female without been attracted to them in that way.

~I have plenty of male friends/ equaintences and im not attracted to them either, i only have my other half in mind. Although that when i tell him about my day and the things that get said to me i think he gets a little jealous.

In my opinion I think it all depends on the type of bloke he is, and what type of character he is?

How well do you know any of his female friends ? My guy has a lot of female friends but he has introduced me to many of them and I consider some of them to be my friends too now. He has known most of them a lot longer than me and I did see some of them as a threat until I met them and got to know them. On the other hand, my sister's ex has a lot of female friends and kept them strictly separate from my sister. She found out after a while that he had slept with some of them. I don't know if this helps or not, but I just thought I'd say that I don't think it necessarily spells disaster. Maybe suggest meeting up with some of them and see how he reacts to your idea??
