Religion is what we believe in and what keeps our faith up in life. Nothing wrong with having a religion. Getting involved with someone of a different religion can be difficult, but you're not with him cos of his religion, remember? Catholic and Protestant aren't all that different in Gods and biblical teachings...rather than just in casual political ideas such as divorce, contraceptionn, etc...I wouldn't know, seein as I follow my own religion. Either way, you like him because he is who he is, religious or not. Love is an emotion that we are blessed/cursed (depends on different people's views or experiences) with, so we must use it to how we approve. You must not give up something that could make your life because you respect your God. Surely, if God exists, he would wish for us to enjoy our life and the emotions we share with one-another. God will approve of your love for your fellow, for you would be enjoying the life he blessed you with, rather thn wasting it. You can worship your god and respect your man at the same time, there is no harm in that. Overall, what I'm tryin to say is go for it and don't be afraid. I wish you luck for your future = }
