im a bit nervous about asking this but here goes

I'm still a virgin but i am very worried about sex

My labia Minora (i think its called) is quite extended it comes out of my vaginal lips to the extent that it covers my urea

i am worried about 2 thing

1. If i do have sex he won't be able to find the vaginal opening because it comes out so much

2. and second i wont feel pleasure... it's like it's been damaged or something cuase it get really iritated whren i wear trousers/pants cause it comes down

help!

as other people have said, this is actually quite common. I am 19 now and have the exact same problem as you with large labia. I was really worried about this when I was younger and thought that any partners I had would be disgusted by it, or stuggle to have sex with me incase it got in the way. i've been with my boyfriend for two years and when we first had sex i was still really worried about it. but he's never commented on it or even seemed to notice it, so i'm over it now - and its certainly never made sex any more difficult.
i will say though that i don't have usually any discomfort with mine provided i'm wearing underwear - although its bad without. so, if yours is causing you pain then it may be worth speaking to a doctor.

In some cases, the inner labia protrude just a little bit; in other cases, they come out pretty much.

You should talk to your doc or gyn. Today, through a simple and minor surgery the situation can be solved. Just recently there was a TV program where that said that girls are increasingly undergoing this operation. Its possible that with the "shaved-vulva" fashion, girls also are more aware of this anomaly and want to get it solved.

hey i dont know how many vaginas you have seen but for most of us girls we dont get a good view of very many to compare ourselves...if you had the chance to look you would find that they are really all sorts and sizes and shapes!! now what youve got are the labia majora-the round and fleshy outside bits-then as you say the labia minora-now lots of them protrude quite a bit and for plenty of women it can be uncomfortable to wear tight jeans etc coz they rub....the urethra is what i think you are referring to(where you wee from)and hey to have it covered is not a bad thing -helps to keep out infections-now if you are comparing yourself to pics in magazines or on porn movies-stop right now!! they are so air-brushed and in some cases surgically "changed"- i wont say enhanced-that they are nothing like real vaginas-ok to get to the point-sorry ive been rambling!! any fella is going to find his way in-and he is gonna love being all wrapped in your lips....as for your pleasure - lots of lube and start finding out for yourself what does give you pleasure...and it will-just a thought-try some lube when you want to wear jeans etc-i often use it if im going to be riding my horse all day so i dont have friction problems ...the only thing ive got to ask...do you have any reason to refer to possible damage-i mean most of us know if we have had an injury...anyway stop stressing about your size and shape-truly large lips are very common-so just take it all as it comes and enjoy it when it happens xx

I am nearly nineteen and went thru exactly the same mind boggling experience. I felt like i was the only one. Not as womanly but the truth is your more womanly! There are plenty of girls going thru the same thing, An plenty of guys who have there own thing goin on. Having a large libial minora isnt as uncommon as you's think. Its just people tend to not talk about other ppls vaginas. Even men dont as such, IF THEY HAVE RESPECT 4 U. And the truth of the matter is even thou its very cliche. You are who you are,,,, You cant really change that. You have to get used to it, learn to accept it and have faith that a decent guy or even a half decent guy will come along who aint all that shallow! It is a major thing to you!!!, but yano it really wont be to that guy that comes along. Trust me he wont care aslong as he gettin it hehe, He's still gna enjoy having sex an i bet the last thing he'd want is for you to feel ashamed or embarresed. Ive been there and really the thing to do is not care all that much. Because where is worrying and being self-conciece gonna get you? Unlike you im not in any discomfort but i have researched into this, and some womens are 9" long. Im only 18 at the mo and have had a boyfriend, a few lovers. They really havent cared, so please dont worry about what other ppl will think. Because thats the mistake i made, it got me nowhere fast. But to be honest if you are in alot of discofort it would be worth going to your GP. See wot he thinks im not advising this ATALL because it is a very painfull opp but there is something that can be done if you are in alot of phisical pain. But thats something you can ask your GYNO about.
