"Dry skin - oils instead of creams" Posted by maygemini 18 October at 11:58
Perhaps you could try oil instead of creams and lotions? I have dry skin as well, especially around my eyes and my forehead is always a bit flaky. I tried lots of different creams but none of them did a good job.
I now use oil which I buy online at www.wellnessence.com I use wrinkle relief which I mainly use at night, during the day I use a cream with SPF. For my body I also use the bath & body oils from the same shop, they are really nice and I don't have that dry itchy feeling after a shower. I think they also do an eczema oil, especially for dry and irritated skin so perhaps you could give that one a try.
Also very good for dry patches is unrefined sheabutter.

"A great cream" Posted by fitgirl3 1 August at 21:29
I had the same problem a few weeks ago and I have used aslavita cream, it is really great. It is made especially for dry/sensible skin and from natural ingredients. Now my face looks healthy and bright. You should try it.

Hi,
I advise you to try Moisturizing Cream with Clay from aslaskin.com , it worked for a similar problem with me.
Cheers

"What do you use now?" Posted by fresholi1 13 April at 22:45
Hi, I'm a qualified skin care therapist and I'm interested in what you're skin care routine consists of and how long you have maintained that routine? (This is one of the first questions I ask my clients during consultation - I'm not just being nosey... honest!)

Try Dr Bragi, its a great natural product from Iceland, it gets rid of everything from wrinkles, spots, blemishes to psoriases and contains nothing but marine enzymes from Iceland.
It worked for me, you can always try a free sample and see if this works for you - http://www.drbragi.com/trial.htm
All the best,
Melissa x

"Training skin specialist and make up artiste" Posted by gennaxxx 22 January at 17:36
atc ollege i am studing make up ariste i am also studying as a skin care specialist. i 2 have dry skin and it helps to clense tone moisturise everyday morning and night to restore the mosture back into ur skin. if you skin is sensitive then use simple face froducts but if you are not things like loreal or olay which i use. also it is great once a weeek you exfoliate your skin because that takes the dead skin away which helps from dry skin. also i have a min steamer that i do once a week this also helps. this also helps with my dry skin but also helps with my skin apears with spots and blemishes. also drink 2 litres of water aday. try it if it doesnt work ill try something else to help you. give it ttime to work aswell. message me back xxxx ps dont use mouse foundations with make up always liquid with dry skin and plenty of moisturiser rubbed deeo into skin ...xxx

"You gp has special cream" Posted by mumzie 18 January at 00:02
Hi, sometimes your skin needs a 'kick up the pants' from a prescribed cream with a mild steriod in it. I got some for my hands and it worked a treat. I keep it around incase i get a flare-up , but I haven't had one in ages. I hope your GP can help. H

"Worth going to doctors about" Posted by cazza7 20 January at 11:15
Thanks, do you think it is worth going to Drs about, i thought it was a bit minor, and would feel a bit silly going about going...?
Thank you xx

"Go and see a lady doctor." Posted by mumzie 20 January at 13:55
She'll understand better, and if its only something minor, well that will ease your mind. Remember they get over £100 grand a year ! And you pay for that. You could spend hundreds of £s on DIY stuff and be no further forward. good luck...hope you get a solution...or cream hahah sorry!) h
