I have asian skin. I've been suffering from dark patches on my chin and upper lip and it looks horrid. I wear sunscreen to stop it from getting worse. I have heard about skin bleaches and lightening creams but I know they can be dangerous. Anyone know if there are any natural solutions to my problem like lemon? I have been using lemon but it's kinda drying out my skin. Would like to know if there are any more natural remedies?
Any suggestions and ideas would be great!
Thanks!

it sounds similar to the skin condition i have called chloasma, i am light skinned and have dark patches on high cheekbones and a line along top lip. mine was caused by combination of pregnancy (hormones can produce these) and think hereditary as my brother has a patch, i have stopped my pill as this can sometimes help hormone levels and also had laser treatment, i dont know if this would be a good idea on darker skin, you don't want light patches. i went to a good clinic, so i would advice you see a dermatologist, they maybe able to help. I think you must find out the cause first. It can be caused by hormonal unbalances in which case sunscreen will be a mild help. I suggest you ask your physician, you are right lemon works for a while but it can irritate the skin making it worse.
