can anyone help,i have dyed my hair red for some time now. i want to get rid of the red tone and have it all one colour, dark brown and even.

If you want to DIY it try going for a hair dye with green undertone. I know that sounds crazy but green will cancel the red! Look for products with "cool" in the description. Anything with "warm" tones will emphasize the red hue.
the safest thing is to leave it to professionals!
