Hey, just a couple of questions I need answers to.
I have some darker hair on my upper lip (embarrassing as it is to admit) that I really want to get rid of. I've consider bleaching but I'm a little hestitant as I'm unaware if there are any side affects (eg. thicker hair, more hair or redness). Also the side affects of waxing the upper lip, does it reduce hair thickness or increase it?
Thanks for the help.

i use Joven bleach on my upper lip and have never had any side affects (and i have sensitive skin!) if you use it as intructed then it should not cause any problems (best to do a patch test first though)
As for waxing i would not recommend it as the hair pulled out by the root can always grow back in a different direction so i think its best to leave alone! my sister had hair laser removal for her upper lip hair which was a great success but expensive. I think hair removal creams are fine to use now and again but dont use them more than every 28 days as they can start to sensitise or damage the skin even..somthing they dont tell you on the packet! but as it takes the top layer of skin off then it doesnt take a brain surgeon to work out!
Hope this helps....

hey, being asian its very common for us to wax or get the upper lip threaded. I used to bleach but having a blonde moustache was not very appealing. Waxing did not make it grow it different directions, but once u start removing it, you have to make sure you keep doing it. As for threading, I find is great cos I can do it myself,no burns, n very easy but its quite painful initially. Good luck
