"Clip in extensions help"

Ive just bought some clip in human hair extensions.
I have shoulder length hair but its very fine so i want to thicken it and maybe add a few inches.
The hair is in two 12 inch widths( total 24 inches)and is 18 inch long.
Ive googled as to how to wear them .
However to get an even thickness the strips are probably better off cut into smaller widths.
I was thinking of cutting to;
2 x 6 inch
2 x 4inch
2 x 2inches.

Any ideas to anyone who has these already?

"Best to cut it to your head."

It would be best to cut it to the shape of your head, starting from low down on the back of your head, measure off how long they need to be and cut. Seal off the ends with either clear nail varnish (what I use) or by stitching the ends (the more common recommendation).

Mine came already cut into smaller sections sorry, so I can't help much.

Just make sure you have enough clips to hold them in securely and comfortably. Mine were too small and not strong enough, so they were constantly slipping out. :/
