| Thread started by: | "Help! i burned my hair!" Posted by tswiftrox1310 22 November at 15:30
A friend and I were straightening our hair the other day and when we set the straightener down on the countertop, we didn't realize that there was water on the countertop. I picked it up to straighten my bangs and we heard a sizzling noise. I kept straightening my bangs and when i put the straightener back down on the counter top, my bangs were burned! They were so burned that they turned bright yellow! We washed my hair and the yellow still wouldn't come out. Does anyone have any tips for me?

If its really bad, and normal deep conditioners dont work, i know that hairdressers do an in-salon hair rescue treatment, that softens and silkens even very dry hair, much better than just conditioners. However, i dont know whether burnt hair can be rescued, or whether it's gone beyond that ~ if so, the best thing to do would be to trim off the burnt hairs, so that the rest of the hair can grow healthily. xxx

that sounds horrible. all i can recommend is a nourishing deep hair conditioner and hope that your hair will recover. i have been using pure earth conditioner, it detangles and leaves my hair nourished as i have very thick and frizzy hair and is always a bad hair day well, not too bad now i use this wonder condtioner.
