Has anyone used or heard of Rio's Laser home hair removal Kit and does it work? I don't really want to go to the salon...so this would seem like an ideal solution??? Any feedback would be appreciated Jamelia

Well i got my Tria laser for at home use yesterday and have only done a test patch yet - so will keep you posted on whether its any good - however it is an eye watering £745 . well it will be money well spent...if it works.

i am asian - the best way to describe my skin tone is mac foundation shade nc35.

i have had IPL on my face but after 10 sessions havent really seen any vast long term improvements so this just seems teh cheaper alternative.

i have had the TRIA laser hair removal kit now for 6 weeks and i can see a noticable difference but it is alot more expensive then the rio, but i highly reccomend it!
"Rio- big disappointment !"

I purchased both Rio products and have been trying for three years to get rid of hair on my face, belly button and breasts. Unfortunatelly it has not worked for me so far, but my problem has gotten worse, because if you follow the instructions you must shave when you use the laser and you must not pluck. This is the only way it can work. So I ended up with stubble...My advice is "forget Rio"
I will keep looking for a better home laser product, but so far I found the salon was a success but far too expensive, and after 8 sessions in the salon the hair does come back after a couple of years.
It should have worked on me, because my skin is white with brown hair and unfortunatelly very hairy (with very dark hair in places). Anyway, good luck girls !

Hi, I brought one and I am unsure, it takes so long! I recon it works by burning the follicle. For example if you see people that have suffered burn injuries no hair grows on the spots. On the patches I have tested it seams to work but on my legs I have developed some small red dots. They may be due to general ageing but I am not sure, so I was looking on this forum to find out if anybody has success too.
