Hi

I've just got back from my BA yesterday at Elyzea so I though I'd share my story.

We flew out wednesday morning which took 50 minutes from Birmingham to Brussels. I bought loads of drink and food in the airport knowing we had a minibar in the hotel room so I could stash it in there ready for afterwards.

We landed in Brussels around 13:00 and hubby treated me to a taxi rather than getting the train even though we were staying 2 minutes walk from the station at grand palace. Taxi ride went really quickly although some of the areas we went through looked really run down - i just remember seeing a bill board saying brussels the home of french fries !!

On arriving at the hotel we checked in straight away and then went of a mooch around and soon found the clothes shops much to hubbys dismay The only other thing I noticed how many beggers there were around and people who couldn't play music to save there life but still wanted money from you.

We had a fab meal out (at a restaurant called Chez Stans) so much so I said if I felt like it after BA I wanted to go back and eat at the same place as it was so good and really reasonable. We then went back to the hotel so I could have a last night of being able to sleep on my side.

i knew that I had to be up before 6:30 to have something to eat so I snuck downstairs leaving hubby in bed just before breakfast opened and got lots of fresh bread, honey philly and drink. I took it back upstairs and eat the lot with running one minute over my time for nil by mouth!!!!

I climbed back in bed and fell asleep again as we didn't have to be at elyzea until 11:30 so we wanted to get a taxi about 10:45. I still had enough time for a wash and to do hair etc.

We got to elyzea for around 11:00 filing in the initial forms on arrival and the receptionist the handed me the rest of the information to read. She told me to take a seat in the waiting room and they wouldn't be long. There where more people in the waiting room than I had imagined mostly english girls around my age.

Dead on 11:30 the very nice lady came to collect us to go through everything, take payment and give me my antibiotics and pain killers. I couldn't help but notice all the girls who work there seemed to of had bas -8-
It was then back to the waiting room for the nurse to collect me. It was less than 5 minutes before Jac a very nice male nurse came and took us to my room. He handed my the cap, blue plastic sliipers like the ones you wear round a pool and a lovely paper thong you all keep telling us about - I even brought mine home as a souvenir!!!!

Within 2 minutes of getting changed Dr Tondu entered the room with a lovely smilie! He introduced himself and told me what would happen and then explained it would be my turn to tell him what I wanted from the BA. He then drew those pretty lines - in which they must have been all over as i giggled the whole time. He then took 3 poloriod pictures.

2 minutes later I was saying good bye to hubby as Jac took me down the corridor. Hubby was allowed to stay in my room the whole time so he just sat and read his book (which is my usual way of keeping him quiet!)

Jac kindly put me on the table then covered my legs with the dressing gown before soaking me with the iodine from chin to fingers. It wasn't as cold as I expected. I just kept giggling saying to him he must love telling people in bars he does this for a living.

The Anaesthetist came and said hello then put the canular into my arm and untucked the hair from behind my hat so it was neat and out of the way. This is when it took ages for everone to enter the room as they had to wait for some equipement. It was from 11:50 to 12:10 then Sue (who did my consultation in manchester) entered the room as she was helping Dr Tondu in theatre that day.

The Anaesthetist placed my mask on and that was all I could remember.

Hubby said I'd been gone 1 3/4 hours in total before they brought me back. Apprently the nurse said to him he could say anthing he wanted and I wouldn't remember at this point. He says he took the opportunity to get a few things off his chest - I *think* he's joking !!

I dozed for a while until Dr Tondu came in to check on me. He said it had gone really well and he had used 335cc unders through the nipple - just what I wanted. He said his goodbyes and then I dozed again until around 4 and wen I woke up I was determined I needed the loo. Hubby fetched Jac. This was the biggest mistake I made. I was in no fit state and couldn't really walk back from the loo as I was so dizzy.

Jac went and got another memeber of staff who kept taking my pulse and asking if I was always that pale. He upped my drip and then went and fetched another so called "magic drip" to stop the dizzyness and nausea. Along with 4 ginger nuts, 2 fruit gums and a drink this did the trick and within the hour I was ready to go home.

Reception called a taxi and gave me my flower. I just kept thinking of all the girls who had written about the speed bumps on the return journey but we were back before I knew it.

I felt fine not as bad as I thought to we went to have a meal at the restaurant from the night before. I ordered the 3 courses (for just 13 Euros!!) and they kept a flow of fresh hot herb bread coming but I could only eat a fraction of what I had eat the previous night. I enjoyed it but looked very pale by the end of the meal so we wandered back to the hotel about 2 minutes away. Well dawdled back was more like it with my chest shoved out.

On getting back to the room I undressed and climbed in bed. Sitting / lying I felt fine it was just getting up and walking aroud I felt like I had bricks stuck to my chest causing pain.

I slept on and off to bbc 1 in the back groud but didn't manage to sleep from 11:00 to 3;30 not that I was in much pain if any lying there just didn't feel comfy with the pillows and it hurt moving around.

After taking another strong pain killer I eventually fell asleep to hear the alarm go off at 7:30 to get up for breakfast and then to the airport to come home.

I feel so much better than I imagined today. It just feels uncomfortable still walking aroung but better than yesterday. Some of the swelling has gone and my stomach doesn't seem bloated. Still I'm home and going to try and rest.

Anyway that's my story - sorry for going on I'll post some pics as soon as I get the bandages off.

Leanne x x

I love hearing other stories on Elyzea patients.
I too went there for my operation with Dr Tondu on the 12th July and to be honest, i remember getting there and waiting.
I was promptly called for the perscription and aftercare guidelines and of course payment.
I remember being shown to a room to put on my hat, blue slippers and those lovely paper knickers lol also purple dressing gown.
After that Dr Tondu came to draw on me in green marker and said he would see me soon.

A male nurse came to get me and i hoped up onto the table and he covered me in iodine and put a tube in my nose.
From there i remember...................... .........nothing.

Oh congrats on your new editions

Hi Leanne

Got your message on 25.08.08 and what a lovely story. Honest and 100% genuine. Have read some threads on moles posting false stories and advice etc but I can vouch that yours in true.

Well you got what you wanted and don't be suprised if you end up an e cup. Did you have high profile of moderates? Can't wait to see some of your pics and glad to hear that you are recovering well. Do take it wasy though for the first two weeks and do keep upper body movements to a minimum.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me and when you have to change your dressings for the first time let the shower run for about 10 minutes to soften up the gauze tape before removal, that's what I did. Drink plenty of water/eat lots of fruit and no salt.

Speak to you soon and don't forget to add your name to Dr Tondu's Fan Club.

xx

thanks for your story, im off to Elyzea in just under 5 weeks and im having Dr Tondu too!
Glad to hear your experience was a good one, im looking forward to seeing the pics.

What size difference did the 335cc implant take you to?And also, how much did it cost you for a taxi to and from the airport? im considering getting a taxi each way because im a bit blonde sometimes and it just seems like the easiest option lol!

Happy healing anyway!

Not sure what size the are only that they look huge. They've put me in a c bra so #I'm think they might be a d as they tend to put you in a smaller bra for support I believe.

Taxi was about 40 - 45 euros to and from the airport and about 10 to the clinic.

Hubby just thought it was easier than the train and he's so used to getting taxis in europe with work just thought it would be the better option.

Hope this helps and good luck for 5 weeks. What size are you thinking about?

Thats not too bad, i might get a taxi for one of the journeys, how did you find the taxi ride after your BA, was it painful or uncomfortable at all?

Im thinking about a D, or maybe slightly bigger, but im so confused! Im a B at the moment, and was going to have 300cc in one and 325cc in the other, i really dont want to come out too big, just big enough to still look in proportion with the rest of my body!

I know everyone is different, but from your experience do you think 300&325 will take me to a D, or larger?

Im sure i will appreciate whatever i've got, and will get used to the size whatever they are, im probably worrying over nothing!

Thanks, Steff xxx

The journey wasn't to bad although i did think about the speed humps and how fast he was driving. I didn't put my seat belt on them apart from that I just couldn't open / close the door easily.

I was a 32b but more like an a. I did say to dr tondu that I wanted as big as my body could take with out it looking out of proportion. 335 is what we talked about and low and behold thats what i got. They do look rather huge at this moment in time although I imagine they are still very swollen at the minute but when you think they are only 25 hours old

325 I would imagine would get you to a d if you are a b know but i'm sure other girls might give you more info.

Thanks for such an indepth story of how your BA went and am so pleased everything went well for you. Had you met DrTondu before your BA? I am trying to pluck up the courage to phone Elyzea today and book my BA with Dr Tondu, saw flights last night for 50 euros for both me and my hubby to fly to Brussels so thought I should get it done now - but I am sooo nervous.

I would love to see your pics when you have a chance to get them up. What size were you pre BA and what size did you hope to be?

No I had a consultaion with sue but had heard great things about him and his work. In fact never read a boad word only praise.

I'd book so you can book the flights as soon as. We went with brussels air and the economy flights so went. Think I paid £30 plus taxes each each way.

Just waiting to take bandags off on wednesday and will post some pics.

I was 32b but more realistic 32a aas had lost weight, 5"7 and just under 9 stone.

They so look huge still but not as big as yesterday but it's still early days and time for them still to go down

Anything else you need to know just ask
