i didn't get a written quotation even still now an having the op on monday thru mya got the price down alot though £3500 including overnight stay an 5 years aftercare xx

thanks for your reply, how was your expierence with mya? did they give you a written quotation? did you get any, from any of the companys?
overnight stay at mya at that price seems really good x

i had a consultation at MYA yesterday and they gave me a written price £3850 for round allergan CUI as a day case. It didn't detail the aftercare policy but it was a written price.

went to transform myself and was told the price, said definately no hidden extras,
have paid my deposit and invoice states exactly same price minus my deposit of 800 quid.!!

and no i didnt get anything in writing.. they seem to have set prices (all inclusive) for all their operations they offer. I did make sure about the aftercare policy and read the booklet they gave me from cover to cover...
A friend mine had it done previously again at transform and she didnt get a written quotation either..

My PS told me the price at my consultation and also sent me it in writing, with a breakdown of all the costs - surgeon, anaesthetist, hospital etc. with details of what was included in the price. I didn't have to pay anything until I was at the hospital on the day of my op.
I wouldn't be happy with a verbal quote, I'd want something in writing showing what was included in the way of aftercare etc.

they only write it on a piece of paper as they are all worried you will take their quote elsewhere and get it undercut by another company, at least that is my experience so far, and usually its the patient co ordinater who deals with the price not the surgeons. i think you have to specifically as for a written quote, although i think once you book they will give you it in writing
