Hi i had 410cc overs nearly 3 weeks ago & yes thay do look mostly natural,the more time that go's by the more natural they look,i was worryed that you would be able to see the implant but you cant,they are swelling & a little hard still but getting better all the time & so far im loveing them,i think people have said that unders are more painfull.hope this helps.

Hi have opted for 280cc implants, I am small framed, 5'2, 32A, I want to go for a C cup prob over the muscle as I do have some breast tissue but would unders look better, need advice please girls

it depends on the amount of breast tissue you have to begin with, breast tissue has nothing to do with the current size of your breasts, but rather the thickness of your skin surrounding your breasts. i assumed i would have unders as i was 32AA, so a size smaller than you but i was advised that overs would be best for me as mine are spaced quite far apart and theres no way i would have been able to get a cleavage with unders as the muscle would have prevented it.
its all a case by case thing, sure overs have a higher risk of rippling, but unders theres a higher chance of capsular contracture so you really do have to weigh up the pro's and cons with the help of your surgeon hun

Thanks for replying I can get a cleavage now looks like I do have enough breast tissue and the skin looks ok too so feel reassured by your advice. Yes there are pros and cons for both but I do massagefor a job and need to get back to work I've heard that the implants can pop out at the sides in people that use weights and train so bodybuilders opt for overs, so many things to think of but I'm moving towards overs anyway thanks again and will keep you posted x

yeah but your breasts were most likely close together before ba? ive just heard that although you can get a cleavage with unders, quite a few girls here find it quite difficult as the muscle can prevent it. definately, i never had a cleavage before at all as mine were way too small and spaced far apart but overs helped me get one, think again its different for everyone but surgeon i had said that for me if i wanted a cleavage i would never get one with unders but overs would draw them closer together.
my surgeon said chances of cc were higher with unders? weird. doesnt matter what the data held says, unders can ripple too though not as much as unders as they are disguised.
think at the end of the day though you do have to trust your ps to an extent, he can sort of weigh up our individual chances of complications rather than 10% this and 8% that lol

Lucky you lol, wish mine were before then id most likely have got a wicked cleavage! maybe thats what he meant, that they were more pliable, i wasnt concerntrating too much in there, my partner went on for days about what he'd said but all i really took in was 'over' 'cleavage' and 'large c-small d' lol

i do agree with getting as many consults as possible, wish i had but cos i live in the middle of nowhere each consult was at least 20 miles away and i work full time which made things difficult, im sure i could have gone bigger and a bit annoyed mine arent how id envisioned them being. but just trying to put things into perspective, if i had gone bigger i wouldnt have been able to have as much choice in relatively dainty bras and judging by how they look loads smaller, id have to be an H to be happy i think and it'd be no fun dressing like bridget jones in my 20's! Think i see boobs in a distorted way or something, i like em really big (just not lola big!!!) hopefully fashion can catch up with bigger bras

Regarding CC here is an article stating that there is a higher risk of getting CC with overs, not unders. If you have unders then the muscle actually massages the implant naturally though I still give mine a massage every day just to prevent this from happening.

I had unders over 5 months ago 335cc round/moderate profiles, pictures are on picturetrail.com username is golden-brown, pm me for password if you would like to have a look.

The best person to advise you is your ps and of course what look you are trying to achieve. Also it does depend on the look you have now and the space between your breasts. Mine are exactly the same as before except bigger so your surgeon can only improve on what you have now. If you can put some pictures up of yourself pre BA then ask for other peoples advice and get a better idea of the look you want to achieve.

All the best but I wouldn't say that overs look more natural than unders only you may get a different result rergarding cleavage.

i didnt read anything on cc, just what my ps said hun. i can get cleavage a bit with mine, but space was so big before ba but when they soften up more and i can mess about woth them reckon they'll be better

the whole under/over thing and natural really does depend on tissue and loads of other stuff ps best to advise though, i went over hoping mine would look fake but they look too real lol

i have overs and they look natural but like a few of the girls have said a lot depends on the person as to what would be better. i started at a ever so slightly saggy 32 A and having overs has made them pert (i love that word : ) again. with unders i would have been more at risk of double bubble. plus my recovery has been very quick and almost pain free. there also already soft and settled only 3 weeks out. BUT ihave can feel the edge of the implant and rippling (cant see it) and the chances of cc are slightly higher 4% instead of 2%(according to ps and various sites). both can look natural or fake. both ways have there advantages and disadvantages, its one of the things that bugged the hell out of me. x
