I haven't had Mr Lam yet but am having my surgery with him on the NHS in Sheffield on 22nd Oct.

He seems lovely and I've met him twice; his secretary couldn't speak highly enough of him.

I think he does a lot of NHS work, tuberous breast correction and mastectomy reconstruction stuff

I went for a consulatation with Mr Lam at claremont hospital in sheffield the other week, he seemed really good but im put off because i cant seem to find much about him online. Im trying to choose between having it done at transform and claremont.

Has anyone had it done with Mr Lam or just at Claremont?

I have had a consultation with Mr Fitzgerald through Transform in Sheffield..he also works for the Clairemont hospital..very nice man, although I've not booked anything yet, I posted a thread earlier asking for some advice or recomendations from anyone who has had BA either at Clairemone or Thornbury hospital..

Please let me know what response you get...

I am too considering breast surgery with Mr Lam but have had the same problem trying to find out that much about him. I used to work for the NHS and have a friend who still works in the NHS, so between us we are trying to find out a bit more information about him, and can let you know if I find anything out.

I was offered consultation with 7 Consultants at Claremont and have not yet booked as I knew nothing about any of them and was unsure which to book with. What made you pick Mr Lam? Have you found out any more information on Mr Lam?

i can't vouch for his results yet but he is a lovely man. He seems very diligent and arranged meetings with colleagues to discuss my surgery to check their opinions on how to proceed etc as my situ is a bit complicated.

Even though I am seeing him on NHS he always has time to see me, is very friendly and polite, his secretary loves him haha and his nurse seems to too (always same nurse with him).

how did surgery go with mr lam? would you recommend him? I need find info soon as possibe I need to decide if he is doing my reduction
