"You are the size of your bra!"
Posted by debsey1 15 September  at  18:18

I read so many times on this forum about ladies that say 'I now measure 34dd but only look a c' or 'I am a 32e but look a d etc.. Another one is 'ask for a larger cc' because augmented boobs come up smaller than real boobs'

You don't hear real breasted women say the above if you fit comfortably into in whatever size bra be it a 32dd, 36e than thats the size you are! Surely??

Always confused with this one

i really don't mind what size i measure, what size i wear or what size i look.

i have gone from being flat chested to having a full, in proportion and natural looking bust.

i am so happy just to have curves who cares what letters and numbers are involved in my bra size.

not got boobs yet but read Samantha Janes website which referred to a link which dispelled myths of bra measuring and basically said what ever you rib cage measures round to the nearest event number generally up but if your were say 34.5 round down. Your bra should fit on the last hook not the first one, the hooks are designed for when the elastic starts to give (never knew that - thought I was fat if it wouldn't go to the tightest setting)

To put things in perspective a 28GG is the same volume as a 38DD and a 46A so it really is all about back size check out this website thought it made an interesting read..

http://www.belladonnaeyes.co.uk/bra_fitting_part_02.htm

At the end of the day all bras are made differently so I'm not sure that anyone can ever claim to be an exact size only an exact size in a particular make of bra!

Not sure what it all matters if your happy with your new boobs I've decided myself included that I don't know one person who actually wears the correct size!

I don't think anyone realised how big their boobs are until they try on normal bras... and then like me, none fit and you end up with a 32E thinking good grief! I agree whole heartedly with you - I said to start with that my boobs didn't look a DD/E but how the hell do I know what a DD/E looks like? I've never seen one!! Lol! All my friends are like I was - flat.

Great post!

"Bra sizes"
Posted by lubylocket 16 September  at  17:11

Hi Debs

have followed this thread with much interest as I was obsessed with the size I measured rather than looked. I've come to the conclusion that augmented boobs 'may' look smaller than real ones because we're all up front, often our boobs are much higher for their size than real ones which tend to be all bottom size with little upper pole fullness. Also augmented boobs are often found on slim girls, whereas (and I hope I don't upset people as I don't mean to and I know it's not always the case!) naturally big boobs are usually on naturally 'bigger' people hence the general impression of size.

I have 2 friends 1 slim and an augmented 34DD and a 'curvier' natural 34DD, the only diff is really the shape and height. I've been checking out women buying bras the same size I'm in at the mo and ....yes I was clearly talking out of my a*se when I said in 1 post "I look like a hefty C cup" I don't! I look like a lovely DD and if the nurse is right I'll soon look like a lovely E! But whatever they measure I love my boobies!

I looked at your pics luby, and they are lovely, but i would like to bet that you like many others, don't care what size your boobs are, just that you have now got a lovely pair.

Ok its nice to know that we are 32E,F, or whatever we are, but just to beable to look in the mirror and think 'I am happy with my body' makes a huge difference, so sod bra sizes, we have got boobs!!

i am ever going to post on here cos the way people talk about sizes does my head in.

It's nothing to do with the cup, its your back size. I would like to bet that 99% of people here have only seen big boobs on larger women, say 38 or 40 inch back.

If you look at a woman who is a 38D, she is going to look bigger than a woman with a 32 inch back who is an F cup.

Its all to do with the back size, not the cup.

Go into a bra shop and have a look at a 38C the cup size will be similar in size to a 32 F, cos the bigger the back size, the bigger the cup.

If your boobs only looked a C or a D then thats what size bra you would be wearing.

totally disagree with you
this is a forum to discuss thinbgs like this and i wear a about a dd exactly the same as my mam so i do know what a real dd looks like with a 32 back size and when we are both standing topless my mams def look bigger than mine . mine are more round and full but hers def have like a droop more underneath making them look a hell of a lot bigger mine when standing to the side you can actually see my scar having no drop to the whats so ever. also my friend wear a 30/32 c and in tops hers dont look any difference to mine at all
"I agree with stanyer"

I measure a 34F ... a good friend of mine is a natural 34E and hers look quite a bit bigger than mine .... I'd say mine look more like a D/DD cup.

"Like i said, "
Posted by jane2602 17 September  at  12:13

99% of women have only seen bigger boobs on larger women, so how can you disagree.

You can't say real boobs look bigger, what you should say is real boobs look different.

i can disagree cos i no loads of very slim girls with big boobs. my friens is 5.6 and 7 stone and is a c cup and hers look just as big as mine in clothes and my mam is 5.5 and 8 and a half stone and was a 34f but has now lost some weight and is about a dd and my sis is 5.8 9 stone and a 32d.
yes i do agree they look different as they are a totally different shape but i just think in clothes fake boobs dont stand out as much therefore look smaller in clothes

...did we all want a certain bra size, or did we just want boobs.

If you are all like me, the latter is the case, I just didn't want to look like an ironing board, and I am happy.

I don't give a s""t if people don't think i look 32F, I have got boobs.

HOORAY FOR PLASTIC SURGEONS!!
"Exactly! "

I don't give a rat's ass what I measure as, as long as I actually get some lovely big bouncy boobies then I'll be well chuffed
"Hi jane"

I do agree that larger backed breasted women look bigger than your average 34 back but when my lil sister was pregnant, she went bigger than a G, but i saw her at DD and E and shes only a 32 back and hers looked way bigger than what mine are now.

I have compared bras too and my e-cup bra does look big and it fits beautifully, evidently i know i must be that size to fit in that bra and fill it out properly but mine dont look big.

most people do assume though that a D or E looks a certain size, they dont take into consideration the back size which can make all the difference, a few girls here measure the same size as me but look much, much bigger than i do and we're all the same back size.

it is confusing and i do get what you are saying hun, it just doesnt work in my case, thankyou for your post xxxx

i actually lie about my size to people.. i wear an e but i tell them im a D and theyre ok with it. The few times ive actually told people my real size ive had such stick and they dont believe me, its just easier to say im smaller than i am xx

i totally disagree with you all. the reason fake boobs look smaller is because they are loads wider but no were near as much projection so in tops they definitly look at least a cup size smaller. i went from a aa to a dd bra and in tops no one at all noticed because i wore padded bras that looked about a b anyway, however as soon as i took my top off people were like wow they look big because they can see how wide they are therefore making them look bigger. as for asking for bigger cc i would advise people to. i saw so many surgeons who only said max 300 for my small frame. however i was very patient and would not go ahead till i found a surgeon who would do 380. and still even with 380 they dont even look that big so if i had gone with the 300s would have been gutted. lieing on the beach on holiday i can tell you that mine looked tiny next to all the spanish girls fake boobs
"Implants"
Posted by debsey1 16 September  at  12:48

The implants we are given are to enhance what we already have for example: If your breasts are wide but a deflated 32a say, your surgeon probably would suggest a low to mid profile 300 -360cc. My boobs were 32b/c, wide gap and he suggested ultra HP 365cc. I have the projection and still have a gap (although a good bra sorts that out).

I have friends that are naturally big busted 2 are the same size 34E cups but their bust shapes couldn't be more diferent!

So I still stand by what I originally said you are the size you are if you comfortably fit a cup size whatever shape, band size then thats it!

Stanyer - Theirs might have been bigger but I bet your boobs looked much better than theirs
