Hi,

Due to a rupture in my right implant i had both my implants replaced last week.

I had 330cc round overs in August 04 and had them replaced last week with 440cc anatomical overs - and that was a tight squeeze!

i thought i'd put my pictures up as there aren't often may larger girls to be found out there that have BA - the same goes for pictures. i'm still waiting to be fluffed though! i'm 6 days post op now - 4 days in hospital

Just wanted to say thanx for lettin me see your pics! it was so helpful to see someone a little curvier with a BA. As a size 16 myself its really difficult to find before/after pics of larger ladies with BAs. Your new boobs look great by the way, suit your figure to a T!

do you mind me asking did you want to change from round implants to anatomicals?

also, just wondering about your implants rupturing does it just happen for no reason?

and yeah the PJ's were a gift when i realised i'd be in hospital longer than planned!

and i had ythe option to have anatomicals - which i opted for becasu eeven before i had implants and i was an A vup i was never very full on the underside of my breast. and the same applied for after my first implants. i wanted to have a natural look to my breasts and having them heavier at the top and middle wasn't the look i was going for -it was as though my nipple sat on the bottom lalf of my boob.

when the surgeon offered anatomicals i jumped at the chance as it meant i could have fullness at the bottom, and i would finally even out. you'll see what i mean from my before pictures.

and i was in hospital for so long becasue when they removed the old ruptured implant apparently there was a lot of mess left behind and the surgein said something about the silicone becoming very liquid?!?!? anwyay it was a bit of a mess inside and i needed to keep my drains in for a few days and als be in IV antibiotics to precent infection happening.

Dont know why i ruptured but there is a discussion on here about PIP manufactured implants - i had PIP's and it may have been the quality of the implant...not sure. but the NHS fixed me - for which i am very grateful and i'm pleased i had the option of many shapes and sizes.
