Hi Girls,

As you all know i went back to THG Wednesday to have my Caspular Contracture and Size difference corrected by Mr Paganelli!! to have 400cc in my right and 450cc in my left to even the massive size difference.....

Soon as he saw me he said they didn't stock them sizes anymore, only 405, 435, and 465, so he said to me that i could have the 435 in my smaller boob and 405 in my larger boob, although he was'nt too sure about this so he asked the Nurse her opinion, not that she had any idea, and being the Surgeon he should have known the answer to this straight away!!! He marked on me with the pen and put the cc number above each breast, so he would know straight away when operating...

I finally went down to Theatre at 4.00pm, and i wasn't happy about waiting this long i had'nt drunk anything since midnight the night before, so they kept me waiting for 16 hours without liquid, due to this i started to feel really dehydrated and faint!!!!

I woke up from my operation feeling ok, just had alittle pain.. I didn't look at my boobs until the night time when i went to the toilet, and couldnt understand why my smaller breast looked so much smaller than before my op, when it was supposed to be evened out!!! I was alittle worried but did'nt really think anything else of it!!!!


I was woken then the next day quite early at 4am, to have my blood pressure done, not long after that i was given my big envelope with all my documents in, antibiotics etc,,, to my horror i looked at my documents and the certificate of the implant, and realised that it said, left 405cc and right 435cc,
basically he had put the implants in the wrong breasts, thats when the stress began.

To cut along story short Mr Paganelli will no longer be dealing with me, my husband made sure of that when world war 3 broke out, we've been seen by most of the Surgeons at the Hospital, The main Doctor there, and anesthetic man, all of which couldn't beieve their eyes when looking at me and seeing my pics, astounded by the mess he's made of me,, to top it all off Mr Paganelli didn't even say sorry, he just denied it when the evidence was all staring him in the face.... What a Useless incompetant Surgeon he is, we told him this and he just shut up like a schoolboy being told off knowing their in the wrong!!!

Ive got to go back in 4 weeks time to see a different Surgeon, hes going to then arrange for my new re-op with him,,,i've forgot his name but he seemed to know what he was on about.... Mr Paganelli is now being investigated and probed for his neglect, basically the whole situation is going to be studied by all the medical board, and boy is he going to get into trouble and im going to claim compensation!!!!

Very upset at the moment, as you can imagine, i look a total freak at the moment, and what with all the crying today and shouting i feel totally drained!!!and in terrible pain!!!!

You must feel so awful. If I were you though, I'd get in touch with a medical lawyer and SUE THEM FOR ALL THEIR WORTH!!!!!!!!

This is gross negligence and you don't just want your money back and a bit extra, you want a SUBSTANTIAL SUM FOR THE TRAUMA THEY'VE CAUSED YOU.

I don't know any specialist compensation lawyers myself, but maybe the citizens advice bureau could give you a list of some people. Perhaps hubby could pop down and find out ...

Anyway, try and concentrate on getting better for now, you poor poor thing ...

that is terrible. how could he have not noticed that!!!! that is shocking. im booked for tuesday with thg renato zaccheddu, hopefully it will go well. i hav a v slight difference in size bt nt much so im glad im havin the same size implant,,especially as the surgeon thought my big boob was the smaller and vice versa wen i no which it is and have verified this with several people. hope u gt sorted , what a shame.u should try n gt compensation for that as i can imagine its causing u a great deal ov distress, time and money. xxxxxxx

It is really comforting for me reading all your replies, i appreciate it so much, its really help cheer me up abit,,, Yes, my new Surgeon is called Mr Araco, and when he sees me on the 19th October, he'll then arrange for whats got to be done to rectify the mess, the reason he wants to wait 4 weeks until he see's me is cause he wants the swelling to go down so he can have more of an accurate idea what to do, also when i have my operation they'll be the Hospital Managers present in Surgery to document the implant what comes out incase of discrepancies,,,, my op will probably be a couple of weeks after i've seen him,, just enough time for the pain and turmoil of this whole experience to have subsided.

What a terrible ordeal for you, i really feel for you hun. It's great you have husbands support and he seems to really love you. Good luck with the reop hun i hope you get a reputable surgeon to fix it up. If you're getting compensation remember you can always go somewhere else if you're not comfortable going back.

from me, i think this is so dreadful and i totally feel for you. I cant understand how he can not of known he was putting them in the wrong breast its crazyness!!

I am glad, you sound like you have a wonderful husband by your side and get him to give you extra big loves and his support will help i am sure.

It will sort itself out and you will end up with the most wonderful boobs that you deserve!! I am sure the new ps will make sure of that and that you are looked after properly next time.

Oh your poor thing. How could he make such a basic error.
I had Mr Araco of the hospital group. Is he the one doing your re-re-op? I have to say I found him and the hospital fine with me but I have heard a lot of negatives about the place.
At least you have got it in hand and hopefully will be sorted out soon.
What a nightmare having to go through it all again for a 3rd time though. I feel for you love!

I cannot believe this can happen you poor love!!! I have not heard great stuff about THG but this really tops it. My heart really goes out to you - I hope your re-op is successful and you get the compensation you deserve, although really, you can't pay back the emotional stress this must have caused. Loads of love your way I hope they sort it out asap so you can get on the road to recovery - for the last time this time!!! xx

I'm so sorry to hear what has happened to you and I just hope you have the surgeon I had.
I went to THG and not ALL the surgeons there are incompenent so i'm sure you'll be fixed up in no time. I had Marcos Sforza and he has done wonders with me (i was uneven too).

You poor poor girl, what else can be said, this should not of happened, how incompetant can anybody be, i hope he gets struck off, i,m sure after all this is sorted you will look magnificant, you will have nothing but the best next time, I know all of us should get the best anyway but you were just very unlucky love. I wish you all the best for the future, please keep us informed on how you are doing, have a good old rant at us anytime you like, that is why we are here babs, i couldn,t begin to imagine how you are feeling at this moment in time. That is absolutely ridiculous, to make the very same mistake twice in the same patient!!! He ought to have been ultra vigilant the second time round i mean if there was that much of a size difference surely he would have noticed he put them in the wrong way?? and he even marked above each breast and STILL got it wrong!!!
you poor poor woman i feel terrible for you, to be put through this again and again is just so awful and not to forget the recovery between each op too!
Good thing your not letting him near your boobs again, i certainly wouldnt and i dont blame your bf for starting world war 3 either, my bf would most certainly be jailed if anyone dared mess my body up lol at least yours can keep a relatively cool head.

Do you know when you can have another re-op hun? at least you'll be seeing another surgeon so it shouldnt happen again, and a good thing hes being investigated, what he has done both to your body and the trauma of it all cant happen again.

im so angry for you hun, i absolutly couldnt believe what i just read.what a totally useless incompenent tw*t, how the hell could he make a mistake like that ESPECIALLY when he had wrote the cc numbers above each breast....im so sorry for you hun and i will have u in my thoughts, i hope you get all this sorted soon and put all this behind you, to think he couldnt even apologise for his blunder, im glad your bf give him what for xxxxxxxxx
