hi, yes the pointyness is normal - mine were like that first and second time and if you see some of the girls pictures thay have put up you'll see it's mostly the norm. they'll "drop" and round off eventually this will just take time - more weeks than days but hang in there! you're only 5/6 days post op.
as for the scars, with regards to the other comments about the scars where the bra rubbes healed quicker - this could have been a similar effect to scar massage. Have you been advised on this? look it up on the net (i only have a crummy old leaflet from the hospital)and this will encourage your scars to heal hetter. And don't worry if they're itchy - this is just your body repairing itself.
Hope this helps.

Hi everyone I have a few questions hopefully someone can answer. First, my breasts are very pointy, which I am sure is normal but how long does that normally last, I had overs, also, how tight should your sports bra be? Mine feels very tight I do not want to hurt my scars if that makes sense, just want to make sure I doing things right for my new friends!!! Thanks everyone.

Don't know about pointy breasts... I wish mine were MORE pointy! Sports bra needs to be very tight! Mine was a C cup which panicked me a bit but breasts once "liberated" after 6 weeks sprung out to a good D/DD cup. Once my dressings were gone, I used some gauze to stop the bra from digging too much into my scars. I had (have still...) massive scars as I also had an uplift and strangely enough, where the scars had been very constricted by the sports bra they healed better and faster than on the sides where nothing was rubbing on them. I must admit I cheated a few times and put on another less constictive sports bra for a few hours just to get some relief! Hang in there! it won't be long! I know it's hard to be patient but it will be worth it in the end! Marty x
