Hi i had an uplift on tues just gone, i was reading up on here and there was lots of things about THG, on here ,i went there and to be honest they wernt that bad ,the bad things i felt were when me and my hubby got there ( He came with me coz i was scared) im a wimp, they left us just sitting in the lobby for 90mins before we were taking to the ward, so by then i was well fed up, all went well the nurse was a bit off at 1st but got better as the day went on, my opp didnt get done till 330, but i felt ok after i got a bit sick about 10pm but i just called them and they came and sorted me out, my only beef with them was i needed a pee bout 3am and i rang twice but no1 came , so im the end i just undid my drip and took my drip with me and went, and when they came back in 2 see me, i just told her i cudnt wait & i didnt want tp pee myself so i went , she did say sorry , a bit 2 late for me, then when i came to go home ,becoz my blood pressure was very low they made me stay in my room like a naughty school girl, until it had gone back up , i did have it done in dolan park, all the other staff that i have meet from THG, have all been great ,so dont let other peoples complaints get you 2 down , coz i had started to do that , you get problems with lots of things in life ,dont let it get you down , hope all goes well take care jackie . ps im a few days in to mine and i feel great , x

Sweetie, please try not to worry too much, after reading all the messages, its enough to give anyone a heart attack. I had surgery with the thg, Mr Schiavone was the surgeon, and he was brilliant. The staff at the hospital where kind and caring. Good luck x

OMG thats terrible!! You poor thing what you've gone through,,, I was going to go with Mr Paganelli at THG, but theres no way he's touching my boobies now!!! I think women should be more aware of how useless he is!!!!!!!!! Hope everything works out for you hunnie... Lauren XXXX

I don't see how a couple of ops out of what must be over 1000 can make someone useless. Mr. Paganelli did my tummy tuck and some lipo and I am thrilled with it so far, the results speak for themselves. I am considering getting my boobs re-done, (had them done over 10 years ago and want them bigger) and will be more than happy for Mr Paganelli to redo them.
Yes, a couple of people are unhappy, but far more peope have had this surgeon and are happy. Suregons can and do make mistakes, but are only human, after all.

You're entitled to disagree with me. I feel dreadfully sorry for the women who have had problems with their surgery, and it should be corrected efficiently and properly. But it is not just THG or surgeons at THG, mistakes are something that happen to everyone. There are three women who are unhappy, from what I can gather, and countless who ARE happy.
I have no problem with people complaining about companies or surgeons, of course they should be able to do that, and it is a perfectly natural thing to do. However, it clearly isn't something they can be objective about, which is understandable, considering the circumstances.
There is a thread further down from lady who now has a cut to the top of her breast, caused as apparently the surgeons knife slipped. She names him as a well known and supposedly very good breast surgeon, and I don't doubt he is. However, as I said, everyone can make mistakes. I appreciate that doesn't make it easier for the poor women who have to go through this, but it doesn't mean someone isn't good at what they do.
Considering the faith I put in my surgeon to carry out my tummy tuck, which is major surgery, then I don't think I am going to worry about him doing my BA. As I said before, the proof of his capabilities as a surgeon are in my before and after photos. I personally cannot complain whatsoever about the aftercare I have been given, as my incision has taken a while to heal, and the staff saw me weekly initially and tol dme to ring if I needed moe frequent appointments. They also rang me several times to see if I needed anything.
I would suggest to anyone having surgery, please do your research thoroughly (and remember that most big companies do not use BAAPS registered surgeons) and make sure you read the company's aftercare policy and keep a copy of it.

I too found the staff very nice and pleasant at thg....... But the Management and Surgeons i would'nt trust whatsoever..... .To get my 2nd re-op arranged took forever with them messing me around no end, and finally when it was sorted my Surgeon ended up putting the wrong implants in the wrong breasts, also having all of the medical records to prove it, he still blatently denied it to my face, although my one boob looked like a tennis ball and the other a football!!!..... im now awaiting my 3rd re-op for the implants to be taken out to prove this as evidence, im just worried knowing what their like, that they will some how try to cover the truth up to save his or their own backs!!! Don't be fooled girls!!!!!!

They do have some very good ps's I agree.
And if everything goes fine they are great.
BUT if it doesn't go fine, and you have problems (like I have and others) the aftercare you pay for is disgusting.
I am 6 months post ba/uplift and have been on the phone to them, emailed my ps, texted my pc about how depressed the problems I am having with mine have made me, all of which have been virtually ignored!!!!!!!
I am having my 6 month post op in a weeks time, and if nothing is agreed to rectify my problems you can be as sure as anything I will let you all know.
I have been in pain since my op due to the left implant placement and how odd it looks compared to the right.
I have yet to hear of ANYONE, who has had a problem, get it dealt with quickly and respectfully.
Caz.

I am well chuffed with my op. If a little on the small side (everyone wishes they went bigger im sure!) The hospital was great, staff were lovely, surgeon was good too - told staff to let me stay as long as i wanted as had a bad night. I Posted the same thread as this about a week before as i was panicking about all the negative feedback and i had some great results. Even met up with a girl there on the day. Cannot reccomend them highly enough. Dont forget people with problems stay on this site for advice. Most of the happy ones with no problems dont need advice anymore. Good luck you will be fine. Make sure you are clear to the surgeon exactly what you want and you cant go wrong. Stephy xx

I had my BA with THG (Was under a different name then) over 10 years ago and have just had a tummy tuck with them 8 weeks ago. I am thrilled with my results and the aftercare I have been given so far. I really couldn't be happier! I used them the first time after a friend had her BA done there, and used them this time as I am so happy with my BA and via another forum I knew of quite a few people who had their TT with THG and were thrilled.
I had Mr. paganelli and would not hesitate to have him for more surgery if I decide to have any in the future.
My pics are here:
http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?username=midori1999&Submi t.x=14&Submit.y=7
Just remember what they say, if someone is happy with something, they'll tell a few people, if someone is unhappy with it, they'll shout from the rooftops. I would also imagine far more people who are unhappy use forums than those who aren't. Considering how many surgeries THG perform each day, the number of complaints I have heard about is small.
All that said, if you don't have time to have a re-op or revisions if they are needed, then maybe you shouldn't be considering the surgery? Things can always go wrong, even with the best surgeon in the world.

Hi. I had 450 unders at Dolan Park in March, took me from a 34a to a 32F. My surgeon was Mr. Paganelli. THG were great and I have no regrets or complaints. I just love my boobs!!

I went with THG for my BA op about 3 weeks ago and they have been great
I went to Dolan Park and Dr Payne undertook my surgery
The results are exactly what i asked for and the aftercare has been great and especially my patient co-ordinator olivia.
I can not fault them and i know of 3 others who have had THG and Dr Payne and will all recommend them.
Hope this helps.
