Hi Ladies!

Could you please help me with a lil question on scarring?
How long does it take for ur boobies to drop into place & therefore the scar line fall into where your breasts naturally crease? Am i making sense here?!lol!
My left boob has dropt lovely and the scar sits right in my natural breast crease & you can hardly see it..woo hoooo! However my right boob the scar sits about 1cm above my natural breast crease and is a bit lumpy. I'm nearly 5 weeks post op, had 380cc overs.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated!
Thanks Ellie xxx

so imagine those scars! Ive been doing my research though cos like you i want to minimise the scaring as much as possible. I have heard scarguard is good (you can google it) also band aid scar strips, bio oil, and according to the ps massage!

So i'll probably being doing everything! Not happy i have to have n uplift as well as the implant i wanted just implants

i dont think you have DB, just give it some time.

hi im 6 1/2 weeks & i can still see mine they are not in the natural breast crease on me & dont know if they ever will be & my scars are red & sore, but as your one is in the crease your other will be soon (lucky you).
"Thanks hun!"

Thanks for ur reply hun. I really hope my right boob falls into place soon as i am starting to panic it may be this double bubble thing!
Sorry ur scars are still sore...what are you putting on them?
I found this fab thing at boots that i used once my scars had healed...let me know if you want the details. It is quite expensive and may not work for everyone but i have found it really good.
Happy healing xxx

id love details want to do all I can to reduce scars x

I bought some 'scar reduction patches' from boots (boots own brand). They are small, transparent, fairly waterproof plasters that are silicone based and are meant to help fade, flatten & soften or raised scars (thats what is says on the box lol). For me it has done exactly that...apart from my right boobs scar is still a bit lumpy but you cant see the lumps only feel them. I did ring the nurse about the lumps i could feel and she said not to worry just yet as it is still early days.

I started using the patches as soon as my wounds healed because i was told not to use bio oil until after 6 weeks but wanted something to help sort out the scars straight away.
I think they have really helped me...but are expensive £20 for 21 patches but one patch covers the length of the scar perfectly & they are fairly waterproof so if you are careful they can last a few days. My scars have really faded...not sure 100% if it is these patches or i have just been lucky tho!lol! I also think that by covering the scars up helps anyway as they aren't being rubbed by ur bra cos i think this just makes them more sore & red!

Not sure if these will help everybody but i thought it was worth a try!

thanks Ellie will give them a go, I usually swear by bio oil but have read on here that people have been told to wait and I forgot to ask the nurse on friday what her opinion was, but think for now I would prefer to cover them anyway
