hey hunni

first of all congratulations on your new boobies!

i also had 300cc unders, and i felt no pain when waking but as the local in my chest wore off i felt terrible, it does hurt hun, this is normal but it does get better i promise you! i felt like that for about a week and a half, just keep taking your painkillers and try and move as much as you can as i found it helped, the more i sat still the stiffer i got, i remember crying thinking to myself what have i done, why have i put myself through this, dont forget your only in the early days so the anesthetic will still be in your system so can make you quite emotional, but IT IS WORTH THE PAIN and i can honestly say, every bit of the pain was worth it,its the best thing i have ever done, go on the ann summers website and see how many gorgeous bra's you can wear in a few weeks, get some chocolate, watch a film or something that cheers you up and be proud that your gonna have an amazing pair of boobs!!!

as for the numbness its completly normal, i was the same, one was more numb than the other, one started dropping more than the other, im 6 months post op now and i still have numbness at the bottom of my breasts.

thinking of you hunni, it'll soon be over and you can look forward to enjoying them xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey everyone. im not putting you off, as the results are good and im quite pleased and its only day two! However it does bloody hurt!

when i woke up i felt no pain at all, but as the time went on and the anesthetic wore off i started to get muscular pain. this is still with me. it subsides when im sleeping and im doing a lot of that!!! And if i feel it too much when i wake i take pain killers. Its just moving from laying down to sitting up that hurts the most. hope this goes soon. im told just a few more days though any tips would be great.

Cant type properly so sorry for that. am in bed at he mo. Cant help feeling sorry for myself though. hoping its all worth it. wondering if i was really that bad before... does any one else feel like this or have any experience of this.

Also i can feel my right breast but my left if still quite numb. is this normal???? i had the anesthetic in my left hand and thats still swollen so wondering if its anything to do with that.

i know im going to love em when they are done, im just hoping all turns out ok and it is all worth it like i think its going to be. arrrgghhhh. im so emotional.

thanks girls xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi, I had mine done last sat - 380 unders and i totally understand the pain thing.....I thought my pain thresh hold was just low but my god did it hurt.
The first thing i said when i woke up in recovery was ''its really sore'' which was an understatement. Then when they came back round i was like no it really hurts....they warned it could feel like a brick on your chest but i never had that feeling just the pain.
When they wheeled me back to the room all the bumps along the way and then them trying to put you in the bra and remove the gown and then transfer you onto the bed - god the pain !!!! They put me an ice pack on once back in the room which was great and then when they said i could have more pain killers once i had eaten something i was like where's the food..bring it on !! ha ha

I think unders must be worse than overs as i really hadnt read anything about the pain being bad so it was a BIG shock.

However i am now 5 days post op and its soo much better - I can now actaully sit up without pain. (those first few days i thought i may be stuck in the sofa or in bed forever if i didnt have someoe to help me get up ).
I am trying to move around as much as possible, but havent braved going outside walking yet !!.....quite scared about going back to work next week as i have a long drive each way and no-one knows i have had it done.
My right boobie is stil the most painful and swolen - dont know why .....also the itching it driving me mad around the scar's where the bra is sitting - i presume this is a good sign its healing though...

oh and on the emotional front - I have cried every day from watching films, listening to the radio or reading magazines - it seems everything is setting me off.....and i am really not an emotional person !!!

Take care - hope you are feeling beter soon and able to enjoy them....i know i cant wait...lol.....
ps - where did you get them done on sat ? I was at Abbey pines manchester.

Hi Hun

I know how you're feeling. The first few days are really hard. But I promise you it will get better. I had unders, too and they were damn painful.

My tips for a good recovery would be to take it easy most of the day, but find some time to do some gentle walking. You will find that this will increase the blood flow in your body and aid recovery. Start off just doing 10 minutes or so at a time, but build it up each day. You will be amazed at the difference it makes.

I was back to doing practically everything by the time I was 5 weeks PO - apart from running, I did that at 6 weeks PO. I know for the first week or two I thought I would NEVER be able to do things I used to, but I did, and you will too.

Also the first few days the anaesthetic is still in your body and that makes you feel emotional, depressed, bloated and probably a long list of other things, and you'll probably feel a bit surreal. I know I felt very odd for the first couple of weeks wondering if I'd done the right thing. They will soften, drop and fluff and will look amazing, and you will be so glad you did it. And the first time I got measured it was amazing - I was like a cheshire cat, smiling from ear to ear - 34D from a 34/36aaaaaa. Amazing feeling, still makes me smile thinking about it, and that'll be you in a few weeks' time. I had 265cc mod profile unders.

Take care hun, every day will get better now.

Maria

I cant imagine how much unders hurt, i had overs and that was bad enough!!
