I am pleased you have had a good result Congratz.
But would wish that people who have had no problems, not comment on the aftercare thg provide!!!! Personally I have found that the minute a problem is there, they ignore you, fob you off, and brush you under the carpet.
Yes if things are fine, the aftercare is brilliant. But the minute things are not fine, they are awful.
Don't be lulled into a false sense of security people that thg are good with all types of aftercare, they are not.
I am speaking here on behalf of myself and others, who have problems, and who's aftercare has been abysmal.

Whole thread for the following message:
| Thread started by: | "Thg + pip implants" Posted by sallyrusse 8 October at 20:03
I would like t post some positive stuff about both of these.
I had my BA 7wks ago now at dolan park dr araco did the op. All was great gerri who was dealing wit all the paperwork in manchester answered any questions i had an also helped me on the day of the op. My original time for surgery was 12 but it was moved 2 5pm i wasn't happy wit this so called gerri who got in touch wit my ps an changed 2 an earlier time of 2pm. All the staff at the hospital were brilliant.
The op itself went great and the aftercare i have received has also been brilliant. I have called gerri a number of times after the op 2 ask questions an she has got back t me everytime. Been in for a check up today an all has healed great an r nice an soft. I have been reasured by them that the PIP implants r fine an they dont tend 2 rupture. I am aware that they will say that but i dont think they would use a implant knowing that they have a high rupture rate, if u have 3 or 5 yrs aftercare they have t foot the bill t change em.
Have been tryin t upload pics on picturetrail but havin probs will keep tryin so u can all have a look.

I for one am glad that Sally has posted her story. Congrats on your op and glad all is going well for you. Also very glad to read your comments re the PIP implants - they will make loads of us who have the PIP implants and are worried feel better.
I do feel very sad that people cannot take a positive comment story in their stride because they only have negative experiences. I am very very sorry that you have had a bad experience and are having probems sorting it out, but please take it out on the hospital and not on the people on this forum - can you not find it within yourself to be happy for them? It's not their fault they had a good experience and you didn't!
just my humble opinion - no doubt I will get slated for it though.

OK!! Firstly Sally i too am very glad that you've posted you're story and hope you're ok and wish you all the very best !!! Its been an interesting read!!! thanks hun,
Secondly Meraid i am very happy for all the people on this forum who have positive experiences with whom ever they've been with, be it THG or wherever,,,,,, i have never taken my problems out on anybody else on here!!! Ever!!!! I have been on this forum now for a year and have always been here to listen and help share peoples problems and to give back advice from my experiences to help them......
However, I would appreciate it if you did'nt sarcastically ask me to find it within myself to be happy for them, How dare you!!! I was only stating that it irritates me when women who have had their ops at THG say how fantastic the Aftercare is, and Saying this when they have had no problems and therefore have'nt had any dealings with them, is an insult to us women who are suffering problems and finding it hard for them to resolve it for us!!!! obviously of course the aftercare is going to be hunkey dorey for them!!!!!!!!! For women who have had problems and have found THG Aftercare great, then thats fantastic, and im really pleased for them !!! I realise that their is women with Positive experiences, aswell as Negative!!!!!
And by the way i am not having any problems sorting my Re-op out,,,,I have had b4 now! but this time the balls in my court and i'm the innocent party after having the wrong implants put in the wrong breasts, im still trying to get over it!!!! I must just very unfortunate to be one of the unlucky ones to have had an incompetant Surgeon!!!!
I will once again emphesise that i have never taken my bad experiences out on any of the women on this forum!!! and will always be here to help anyone!!!! So before saying that to me, you should get your facts completely straight!!!!!!!!

Women who have'nt had any complications after Surgery at THG should not comment about the after care!!! it makes me sooo !!! especially when realistically you have no idea unless a problem has occured with you, and then you'll no exactly what their like!!!! CRAP!!!!!! I should know ive been messed around no end by them especially The Crappy Management, and am now taking legal action against them and the DOSEY Surgeon that COCKED my Re-op up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats what the site is about! Negative posts r also good so that people r aware of the issues other women have had but i had every right t post my experiance on this site just as every1 else has. I may still get probs hopefully i wont but if i did i would also make people aware of anythin negative.
I am just as entitled as u, probs or no probs!!!!!!!
Good luck wit the legal action hope it all goes well for u

c'mon ladies this is a forum where all positve and negative stories are welcomed (in my humble opinion) i agree that we should all be made aware of when a company "thg" in this case falls below our expectations, but another ladies positive story is not worth any more or less than a negative one.
All stories welcome!! i havent told many people about my BA and love sharing my opinion and story with you all, and enjoy reading yours just as much and trying to offer advice if i can.

Very much agree with you. But with regards to aftercare, I am waiting to hear of anyone who has had complications, had them dealt with quickly and humanely.
I have heard many positive experiances with thg, and am truely pleased for them.
But I am not willing to let people think that if there are problems, that they will get the same level of aftercare that they receive if there is no problem.
Everyone's experiance is valid, of course it is. And a happy outcome is fantastic.
As I have said, I would love someone who has had complications to come on here and stick up for them....................troubl e is, there isn't any. Therefore to comment on good aftecare (when you haven't had complication's) is null and void. After all, that isn't aftercare, just a post op check up.

I just have to say that having had two ops at dolan park and because of my poor healing ability, I needed two revision ops as far as aftercare goes I never got fobbed off, I was shown care as I expected, I emailed my ps on several occasions to which he replied within the hour. I have made loads of phone calls and all got answered and dealt with or put through to the right dept.
So no complaints

No-one wants to hear that, because it proves them wrong when they say the aftercare is crap.
I also know of one person who has had a revision don with no problems.
I'd also like ot say that 'aftercare' is just that, care after your operation. ANY care, not just a re-op.
I have no need for any revisions so far (only 9 weeks post op) but I have had more then the standard aftercare as my incision was slow to heal an dthey wante dto monitor me so they could catch any infection quickly if it set in, which it didn't. I was seen weekly at the clinic for some time and told to ring with any problems, or to ring Dolan park immediately if it was after hours for advice. I was also phoned several times by the clinic nurse, just to check how I was between my weekly visits.
