"Hibiscrub" Posted by k8tysboobs 6 November at 00:10
to wash with before op to kill bacteria on the skin then can be used once you can shower x

"Just thought of one more thing ..." Posted by goldenbrown1 5 November at 23:44
Dettol antiseptic soap. You can get it at any chemist or boots. Brilliant stuff. Actually I used it instead of Hibiscrub and it lasts longer. The soap lasted me well over a month and I used it every time I had a wash. Don't know if you are aware but there are germs from your private parts that can cause infections. Not a nice thought but it's better safe than sorry and you have to be especially careful after you op regarding cleanliness.

"Stop worrying ..." Posted by goldenbrown1 6 November at 00:15
you will be fine. Look I have some sterile chemical free seawater left over (small tubes individually sealed) which I used to clean my wounds. If you want them then just pm me and I'll send them to you. That way if you're not having a bath or a shower you can just use the sterile water and have peace of mind that there is no bacterial going anywhere near those precious parcels

"Pj's are now in fashion" Posted by goldenbrown1 5 November at 23:40
Apparently PJ's are now very fashionable to wear in public, do you have tiger print ones
I see you are getting well prepared. Have you thought about extra pain killers just incase you don't have enough or the pain get a bit bad on the journey home. Ones that also deal with swelling. Also reading matter as it gets boring sitting around. I wore a black zipped dress that completely undid/zipped from top to bottom so that was very easy to put back on. Some breath mints as you may have a reaction to the anesthetic and to be honest you always feel a bit fresher when your breath smells nice.
Also wanted to say what a sweet thing you said in one of your threads the other day and of course I don't mind you taking pics of me with you - what a huge compliment. When I was preparing for my ba I did exactly the same as you plus I took some pics and stated to the surgeon that I definitely did not want to turn out looking like that woman etc.
I wish you all the best with your ba and hope you come back with a couple of smashers.

"I could do it for charity...belgium to london in pj's!!!!!" Posted by k8tysboobs 5 November at 23:56
I have a codiene allergy (I literally hit the floor!) so prob a good idea to take some of my own in case that is all thats on offer! The only black zipped dress I have shows my bum so I best not take that lol!!!! It would be worse than the pj's!!! ah mints good idea, I will have general toiletries and make up but probably wont bother too much with makeup after the op til I get home! I can see the headlines now 'scary woman with bad breath is arrested in belgium wearing pjs and a giant bra'!!!! Thanks goldenbrown, glad you didnt take offence to it!!! Its just so important to let the surgeon know what you are looking for, and like you say, not looking for! I am 26 but am a mum of three so prefer the natural look where you have the option to push them up on a night out! fanx all, I still have two weeks lol, I am so forgetful and unorganised but I want to be prepared and get it right!!! I have sorted the day care for my three bears for a couple days after and hope I can manage after that! x

"Hiya kt " Posted by mezodi 5 November at 23:37
just take your normal jeans or whatever trousers you wear & something easy to get on, possibly a zip up. I bought a zip up top from H&M especially for coming home in and using in the few days following my BA. I did have bloating , but not straight away if I remember rightly .... that happened maybe a day or two after I got home ..... good luck ... you seem to be very organised
