"6 week check up at elyzea - what happens? anything in particular i need to ask?"

Hi girls

Ive got my 6 week check up with elyzea next monday (i will actually be nearly 8 weeks post op but they couldnt fit me in at 6 weeks lol)

Im just wondering what actually happens? and is there anything inparticular i need to mention/ask?

ive had a couple of problems but they seem to be sorting themselves out, i will obviously ask about them but im not sure whether i need to ask about anything else?

my mind will just go blank on me and im bound to realise afterwards there was something i wanted to ask!

oh, and will they show me my before pics??! i really want to see them, as i didnt take any myself

and when I went for my 3 mth post op check up ... I asked to see them , but they said they were on (something like) a data base, just for future reference (I suppose, for if anything went wrong in the future) ... so I didn't get to see them

Just make a list Stef ... that way, you won't forget ... good luck xx

To be honest if you are not having any problems at all, i would not bother to go. I went to mine and was in and out in 2 mins.

Hey Stefie,

I've got my check up with Elyzea today so I will let you know what happens and if there was anything I wish I had asked. Just private message me tomorrow or this week so I remember to tell you.

I am just going to ask about how mine still ache, scar time to heal, some stitches are still there and that's about it really. I will ask about capsular contracture too as Im always worried every time I have an ache I am getting it! One of mine is more swollen then the other but im sure they will put my mind at rest.

Keep you posted!
"Good luck"

Good luck wuth your check up!

Let me know how you get on. Are you seeing your surgeon or sue? I will just be seeing sue i think.

Are yours still acheing alot? Mine dont ache so much now, but one is still numb!
I also have some stitches still here, i think they take them out when we go.

Yeah im sure they will put your mind at rest, best of luck and let me know how you get on. I will private message you tomorrow if i can.

Im 18 months post now, everythings been brilliant, overs with Dr Neuprez. I never bothered with my 6 week up, i live quite far from Manchester, i had no problems and was happy with my results. When i got to about 7 months post op, the clinic contacted me, asking how i was, they wanted to know why i never went for my checkup and also that they hadnt seen me since i left the clinic, in the end i went, in December, as i had a few ripples under each boob, (theyve since disapeared),

Once there, i saw Sue, what a woman, she was brilliant, i was in there for nearly an hour, i was so glad i went, i wasnt rushed, i had a real thorough examination, she had my notes and went through my op with me, how long it took, how it was very straight forward, no bleeding etc, why my surgeon placed the implants over my muscle, (op and consul on the sameday), she said everything had settled and my surgery was perfection! In the end i was so glad i went, it felt right having some one from Elyzea doing the checkup, id been seen by my G.P but it felt good being back in the clinics hands, Sue said when i left that there will always be someone by my side for as long as i needed them, she was so sweet. I never really asked any quetions, only about the ripples, i was reasured that they might go, and they did.

I forgot to take before photos too but they have mine up on the website, i took a photo with my camera fone off that, they will have your b4 photos with your file, Sue will let you take a photo with your phone from them. Hope that helps abit

hi thanks for the advice everyone..i'll definately be going to my check up because i did have (and still have got) a problem with my boobs, but they are better than they were so i think its just a matter of time before they heal and settle properly, im trying my best not to be too impatient!

thanks sam i will def take a photo with my phone of the photograph they have of my old phone, sometimes i start to get fussy with the boobs ive got but i know they are so much better than before, so if ive got a photo i can look at to remind me then that will be good!

thanks

xxxxx
