it was annieangel that had her op postponed because she had an infection so she had to wait another few weeks. Not sure if it was because of the antibiotics or the type of infection. I would defo phone them and see what they say just to be on the safe side

my surgery got postponed last week to tuesday next week...in two days I will have new breasts - cant believe it!! I;m walking arouond with a sports bra stuffed with socks like a child hahahah

anyway, I've bought the bras from asda (will buy some shock absorbers after op), bio oil, v neck pillow, pjs that button up on the front...have I missed anything out??

went to docs on friday and I have a urine infection, she said it was mild and it would go in less than three days if I take antibiotics and cranberry capsules with lots of water - which I have...so my question is, has anyone gone in and found out they had a UTI and been sent home??

also, I've managed to cut down from 20 fags a day to just 2...will have 2 today and none tomorrow...but now I've read about Katieibiza's experience I'm worried that they won't operate...do you think this is likely??

Toilet wipes - i struggled to reach down there for the first few days. I also got some dettol soap to wash with after.

Hope your UTI clears up they are awlful!!! I think with the fags it can affect your healing i'd try to cut them out during your recovery my OH has just given up and he was told to take Vit c and b complex to help with the cravings obviously check thats ok with your ps but the vits definately helped!

Have you asked your ps about taking antibiotics so close to your op? x

no, I haven't but I asked the doc in a & e and she said it should be fine. Will call my surgeon tomorrow. damn!
