hi i am havin the same problem i also had a straight 4ward ba above the muscle and my incision is also under the breast.i had my opp done on the 23rd feb i was sooo sore with my nipples yesterday that i taped square bits of a bandage to stop the rubbing and it helped alot it is much better today tho, but u could try breast feeding cream for ur nipples..i dont know but it is worth a try.

I had a straightforward ba done 3 weeks ago (straightforward as in no uplift and on top of the muscle). For anyone reading who is wondering whether to have one or not I went with the hospital group and my surgeon was Dr Marcos Sforza. Everyone was fantastic form the surgeon to the driver. My consultation lady was so helpfl I bought her flowers.

I have to say the only pain I really had was in the frst week and that was pretty minimal really. just felt abit tight when I took my bra off, I've probably had worse headaches.

But the last few days my nipples have been really sore. They hurt when I put my bra on and rub against the material. They even hurt abit when I have a shower and the water falls on them. I was told at my 10 day follw up apt that I would experience pain and that it was all part of the healing process but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced anything similar as they are constantly hard which can be embarrassing!

I had my ba in December and I suffered with the same thing dont worry it gets better honestly!!!!

Thats good to hear, was starting to think I was stuck with them gor life!

Where did you have the insision?

The incision was under the breast, I didnt have anything done to my nipples at all.

At my follow up appointment I was told to start massaging my boobs quite firmly down and inward to help them move into place but I am finding this increasingly more difficult as it hurts to do it.

They both sound like good ideas, think I'll give them a try. They hurt less when in a tight fitting bra so will try the bits of bandage I think. shoved a t shirt on briefly yesterday without a bra and thought I might cry! If pain persists maybe I'll try the breast feeding cream.
