"Abbey pines" Posted by kikkykikky 12 August at 17:32
hey claire, i had my BA 26th july at abbey pines. and i cant recommend the place enough. the staff are superb and the room and facilities are more like a hotel then a hospital. its a really relaxing claming enviroment. i had Mr traynor and ended up with 460cchp overs. I was nervous although like yourself waiting for my boobs for a while made it all worth while. i only got panicky when i went into theatre, but i think thats more to do with training as a nurse and being in theatre im use to seeing it happen to other patients. in regards to clothing bring comfy lose clothes that you wont have to strain to get on ie-tight tops especially if your having unders as your arm movement will be limited. wish you all the best, and i know we will hear from you on here with your new friends! laura xx

hi claire
dont worry chick you'll be fine its not that bad and its normal to feel like you do. it seems like a scary operation but i would love to experience the general anesthetic again it was a brilliant experience haha
i know its easy to say when you've been through it but i was terrified of having my ba and am now 5 days post op
like you i wanted it done for a lot of years, i said to my boyfriend today that i dont know why i didnt get it done sooner lol!
have not bought any new clothes as yet but i would get a couple of sports bras (a band size bigger than what you usually wear), a button up nightie, arnica and a v pillow from argos oh and lots of magazines!
