"Regret anyone??!"

Hi everyone,

Really need to stop being paranoid i know! But i just wanted to see what other people who had overs think....

I had 380 overs 6 weeks ago because i was told they look more natural and he couldn't fit a big size under the muscle- now i realise after repeatidly visiting this site that i was naive and should have had a second consultation.

Does anyone else wish they had unders?? Can't help thinking they'd look better and feel more natural

Mel x

Hi,

I think you have to remember that your surgeon suggested overs for good reason. I have also had overs and am perfectly happy with them - they look totally natural..no rippling, cant feel them, no round melons - nothing - Just nice new big boobs!

I think there are a lot of girls on this site (no offense I hope) that have had unders so automatically think that overs are going to give you big round Melons a la Victoria Beckham....they dont!

Why don't we all get on and enjoy them!!!!

"I agree, overs doesnt mean fake..."

here here... I agree, this site is excellent but it can often seem like people get conflicting information from their PS's..and this can set us off worrying unnecessarily...

We are all given different info because we are all totally indivual and really only a surgeon is qualified to tell us whats what..

I have my op in 1 weeks time.. I am having unders but this is because I literally have zero breast tissue...and so the choice is made really.... my friend who does have some breast tissue, has been advised to go for overs for a more natural look.. this is because of the muscle being on top of the implant issue and the fact that puttin it under may leave us with a little party trick of being able to flex and twitch our boobies..

so for some unders is more natural and for others overs is more natural...

if i had more breast tissue Id have liked overs but as I say - it feels to me (and led my by PS) that if i want boobies at all - this is definitely the lesser of the two evils - well - that sounds bad - but if i have a choice as a minus AA cup of having extremely visible overs or a slightly twitchy under the muscle - then Im goin for the unders and keeping my arms relaxed.. hehehe.. but for my friend, why risj twitchy pecs/boobies when she can take overs comfortably..?

Iv put my faith in my PS like i say, they know what they are used to and they're all bound to have their tried and tested ways..

keep the faith.. ))

x

Thanks for that. Good luck with your operation. Hope you don't mind I had a peek at your phots...wow you are going to notice a difference!

I hope you enjoy your new body - I also liked your sense of humour on your commentary!

Good Luck

"Thanks kiteflyer.. ) ...a difference... i know!!"

its really weird... i wud never in a million years have shown my tiny boobies to anyone in the past and have spent a lifetime feeling paranoid about them.. but its really strange - now i know Im gettin rid of them its like Iv disowned them or something and I dont care who sees them.. hehe..

as for noticing a difference - omg - when they put the impants in my bra - i had a dicky fit!.. im just hoping i get used to them quickly.. im worried I might reject them "emotionally" and psychologically if that makes any sense at all...? I bet im the bloomin 1% of people that ask for them to be removed! lol.. nooooooooooooooo

but on the other hand - i just cannot imagine Id regret having a BA..?

will i?

I don't think you'll regret it - especially if you don't go too big. The size you tried on did look very good for your frame.

You don't hear of many people wishing they hadn't had it done. I think there is a period within the first week or so when you get pretty emotional and teary...I know I did..it must be all that build up and then you are left with soreness, dressings etc and unable to wash hair/shower properly. Remember that passes really quickly.

I have been using this forum since early this year and don't think I have read any posts saying "oh my god I hate having a bust!"

I'm almost 9 weeks post operation so out having fun, buying lots of new sexy undies and enjoying it all.

I certainly don't regret it - I just wish I had done it years earlier!!

All the best.

I had 410 overs and don't regret it, although i couldn't have had unders due to one breast being slightly tubular..
I would have liked to have had unders because of less complications but unfortunately i couldn't and i saw two consultants who said the same thing only the second one gave me the larger 410cc high profiles..
I am pleased with the shape etc, they just have to soften up more..
How come your surgeon said you couldn't have larger going under as I thought the reason for going under was if you didn't have enough breast tissue they could give you a bigger implant under the muscle?
I don't understand why he only went over for you if you wanted a bigger natural look.
who was your surgeon and who did you go with?
what size were you before?
I was a 38A and am now a 38 Full D...

I had Mr Khan from Transform who has a good reputation. I don't know why either- maybe he doesn't perform unders????

I went from a 34b (very small)to a 32DD/32E. I'm really happy with the size as they're not too big but sometimes i think i can feel the edges of them and they look quite rounded.

We're never happy!!

just remember you're viewing a work in progress, even though overs won't change size much over time they will still continue to change shape over the coming months as they settle better. I've seen many pics of overs that have settled really well a few months down the line. just give it a few months and I'm sure you'll see the difference. blue x

I had overs 4 months ago and i am well pleased with the results. As some of the girlies say, it depends on how much breast tissue you have in the first place. As i breast fed 3 children, i had sufficient to have overs. It all depends on this and your body shape.
