Hi,

I am booked to go on holiday next week, it will be just 15 days post B.A. op. I am going to be on the plane for 4.5 hrs, does anyone know anything I could do to help prevent problems?

Also, still having trouble sleeping, can i lye on my side yet?

Hi, just noted the date of your post and realised my advice is three weeks too late! ha hope all went well, however .

I flew to Greece 17 days post op (didn't have boobs tho) and my follow up nurse advised me to wear flight sox on the plane. You could also ask about taking an asprin before the fiight as it is supposed to help prevent blood clots. Try putting pillows under your knees while sleeping on your back as i found it eases pressure on the spine, hope this is of some help, cheers, Jeanie

comfortable bra and loose top, you,ll be fine, i had my ba in Brussels, flew back the next day, no probs, just been to Spain, only a 2 hour flight but i was ok. Islept on the sofa for 4 weeks, on my back, but only coz i worryed my husband might elbow me in the nite! I think everyone gets different advice as i was told to sleep on my back for a few days. hope this helps.

How far post op. are you? I have been lying flatish, no one told me to sleep upright. It is true they all say different things.

im 11 weeks post op now, all seems well, i had my op at Elyzea. I was abit worryed about flying home the day after my op but my ps said its fine to fly, i wasnt told to massage them either, that seems to be one of the main things u have to do! i was told to lay flattish, not brush my hair or drive for 5 days! Tried driving after 4 days but i couldnt get 3rd gear so they were rite about that one! take care Sami x

can you help? i am going for my BA in May with Elyzea at bRUSSELLS too! cant wait!! only thing is ive been reading things about sizes and people are going on about 400cc nd 250cc wat are these?? I am a 34A looking to be 34C or 34D whatever will look good, i am size 8

also what about your hair, did you just get someone to do it for you??
