"Hi anj" Posted by debbie666 1 September at 16:53
I had 350cc unders on 14 August and I am still very sore and tender and I too am still suffering with the tight feeling between my new boobs. I went from AA cup and are now 36D. I also tried to drive 5 days ago and it was not a good idea at all.
You just need to let your body tell you what you can or can't do. Try not to over do it but don't just sit around and do nothing. I have just returned to work yesterday and was not looking forward to it due to still feeling sore but, it has actually been good for me. It has started to work my muscles and I do feel better for it.
I have just read a message that Emily sent you. I was in the same day with same surgeon and we went up to the same size. Em was walking round the hospital getting me water etc and I was laid flat out. I couldn't move. I was gutted, but we are all different so you don't you feel too bad.
You just take care of yourself and if you are worried, contact the people who you had the op with and they will give you the best advice.

"Drove yesterday" Posted by alexander04 31 August at 17:58
Hi Anj, I drove yesterday (9 days post op) and was ok bit difficult getting into 5th and reverse, also went for another little drive today.
Seemed ok - think it depends on the person and maybe even the car you drive.
The middle skin bit is still tight today even though it's not as bad as it was a couple of days ago.

"Hi squiffle" Posted by snee1980 31 August at 16:48
Don't worry, this is completely normal! I am 6 weeks post-op and I can assure you the tight feeling does go away eventually.
I had 375cc high profile unders (went from a 32a to 32dd) and I also had the tightness between the breasts which worried me too. However, the skin does eventually loosen up and stretch - mine did at about week 4.
I didn't drive until 2 weeks after my op, and even then I found it hard changing into 5th gear. I would say 8 days is a little too soon, but I totally understand about being impaitent - I was going crazy by the first week!!

"What about straining ur arms..?" Posted by squiffle 1 September at 08:28
Thanks for all your comments.. if what im experiencing is normal, I wont fret so much..
Have to admit, I am a very active person and cos I dont feel "ill" I just wanna get on with things an get back to normal... but i feel so restricted at the moment..
i dont know whether to be patient and just sit n wait - or try some light activities that stretch me slightly... im sure the doc said - to put hands on head after 3-4 days (which i can do with a cringey face and helping out by bending my head forwards..) and also to hold arms out straight shoulder height - i just cant do this - it hurts the inside of my elbows...
What about your arms..? I can only "just" straighten my left arm out straight down by my side then I get a dull ache which seems to originate above the inside of my elbow and travel down to my wrist.. this is really bothering me cos it means i can only walk with my left arm bent in front of me and cant swing my arm in the backward direction at all.. doh!
feels like all my muscles are all twisted inside me..? and my left shoulder blade - wowzers...feel like i just want putting ona rack and having a right good stretch.. is THIS normal....?
Thanks for your help.. Anj x

If you are going to the HMG, ask for Mr Keramidas, he did mine, and I am well impressed. Cannot fault him, he is professional, really approachable and really knowledgable. I saw 5 different surgeons before choosing him!!

"How did it go?" Posted by lils1231 5 September at 11:52
Hi,
I have a consultation with Harley Medical next wednesday. I also saw a nurse at Transform last week and have a consultation with the surgeon on 17th sept, and another one with a surgeon at mybreast. I think these 3 are the best places to try according to everyone here. I thought it was a good idea to get different opinions re size, etc. So nervous...

"Normal!" Posted by em20071 1 September at 19:16
Yeah Anj, im sure its normal as i was aching for a while...but it all seemed to o once i was back at work, prob cos i was constantly moving and using my muscles.
Maybe its cos your not really using your arms that much..?
