"What size implant shall i go to?"
Posted by yellow82 25 February  at  20:09

i'm having my op in april with transform and i am confused about what size i should go for.
i'm 5ft 8 tall and a size 12 with a small b cup and i want to be a full c cup. the surgeon suggested 340cc but i am worried they will be too big.
also, i have 2 weeks off work but my job is very active and i am worried coz i havent told my work. what will my recovery stage be like after 2 weeks?

hi there had BA done last thursday and I'm 5ft 6 tall and a size 12 wanted to be a full DD so had 435cc so think 340 cc would be perfect for a c cup. mine are a bit to big think it's due to all the swelling tho but do really like them are you sure you don't want to go up to a D cup ? you got the height for it. A lot of girls I know has had surgery done twice cos they went to small the first time. I've got a very active job to so got told to take 3 weeks off witch I have. It's been 5 days since my surgery and still in a lot of pain at times.

hi ive just had my op last week with THG im 5ft 5 tall size 12 i went from a b/c cup to a full c and they used 240cc implant and they r perfect size i dont think 340cc will be to big i think they will be right for you i stressed to my surgeon i didnt want to be any bigger than a full c. i do think u would maybe need more than 2 weeks if ur job is very active u need to take the time to recover u would regret it if u didnt i've had ten days off so far i dont feel ready to go back yet as they r still tender x x x
"What size?"

hi i think everbody has this problem should i go bigger . you are quite tall> and from my research when doing the rice test ie if you use 340 grams of rice when you try this in your bra as you dont get the over all look as its on the outside and when you go under the muscle you actually lose 15 to 20% of the implant size if going under the muscle you should choose a bigger implant to compensate this is where people go wrong and are unhappy with there over all look after swelling and settlement of implants if you know the make of your implant you can actually go on to the site and it will give you exact measurments of the implants width / depth ect but you still lose the percentage .i am only 5"1 and only 115 pounds and i used to be a full c but am less than an a iam due for my ba on april the 6 and i still am thinking about size i dont want to pick the wrong one either but im thinking around 500cc 600cc based on my research hope this is helpfull let me know claire x

Hiya

I think you could go much bigger than a Full c, thats only 1 size, i am 5ft 7in size 8/10 and i went from a B to a DD/E and they look fine. Should get your monies worth this is my second week and i am fine my job is very active to so i have two weeks off, I had it done on the friday at 1pm and they told me i could go at 2.30/3pm. which i did at 7pm i was fine on the way home we went shopping, but next day i was in some pain more uncomfy.By tuesday i was doing ironing, washing my hair etc so it depends on yourselve. The pain killers are good. What surgeon are you going with?

hi
thanks for your advise. i'm just worried they're going to look massive! i work mostly with men and the last thing i want is for them all to notice, so i dont want to go too big! got my medical in a few hours with the nurse so i have loads of questions i am going to ask her! i'll keep you posted. do they look massive when you first looked at them? how long until the swelling went down? how long did you have the dressing on for?

Yes they did look massive but then how many pairs of breasts have you seen that size i was a 36F but today i went out shopping in a t shirt and they look good not massive the swelling has gone down just waiting for them to turn to normal boobs now hopefully this week, i have my stitches out tomorrow.

had my medical and all went well. the nurse answered loads of my questions and i am feeling much happier now! i'm going for 300cc which should make me a full c to a d cup.
hope you are feeling ok! i cant wait to have it done now, but i've got a whole month to wait!

Hi,

I'm 5 ft 5, size 8, a 32 A and wanted to go to a full C / small D. I'm very slim up top and like you wanted a natural look so we decided on 340 / 350 cc submuscular. Agreed surgeon would try both sizes and pick one most suited to my frame. Had my BA yesterday at 6 pm and woke up with 340 cc. Feel a little dissapointed and very surprised as I expected them to look a lot bigger. Have a look at the photos on this website http://www.renplastics.com/bupBA.htm Based on my experience with your height and frame I would consider going bigger.

Can't comment on recovery time yet. I work in an office very closeby so I've only booked a week off. They know I am having an operation but no more. I can say I am very very sore today! Not in agnoy and would not let it put you off but I definitely underestimated level of discomfort and lack of mobility.

Good luck.
