It was an experience! I was very tearful before I went down to operating room which is weird isn ... ? After the anasthetic (sorry cant spell) I remember one of the Nurses showing me my new boobs! My boyfriend said then I went out of consciousness again and started shaking all over.. Said it was a bit scary but the doc came running up to check and said it was just a side effect of the anasthetic.. I hav to say I'm not long home and I'm quite uncomfortable but its not unbearable! I thought my boobs were too small when I was lookin at them last nite but it was only because I was lookin at them lyin down. I cant wait until the pain subsides and I can go shoppin for lovely underwear! I feel a bit yuck tho and I cant get a proper shower for a whole week!!!! Did any1 whos had the BA done not hav a shower for a week?? I know its def gonna annoy me!! Good luck to every1 whos scheduled to get BA done!! Keep me posted!

see sweetie it wasn't that bad its just the unknown thats what we all worry about.I was the same about the anastetic i was in tears before hand didn't think i'd wake up, how stupid and when i came round i asked the doctor for a cuddle he must of thought i was a mad woman and i was shaking all over like u so he shove a hot air tube under the covers which was rather nice lol. I had a shower after about the third day, but had a bath the day after my opp was like bathing a baby but made me feel better so used to bathing and showing every day couldn't go without. just dont get your banadages wet and you'll be fine x x|

im glad all is well with you,thank god you had someone with you,its nice to have some support(excuse the pun LOL),im going it alone......scary.

I did mine on my own and you will be fine sometimes i think its better as you havent got someone you love there worrying over you getting upset for you. Do you have someone when you get home to help you?

I really hav to say I def wouldn't recommend u doin this on your own!! What do the rest of u think?? Are u tellin any1 you're havin it done? I dont know ur circumstances but look after yourself!

Oh your soo sweet!,thanks very much for your concern,my family is very big they all have lots of children,my mum is getting on a bit now,so she cant come and there is no one to look after all the kiddies!,my partner works and was unable to get any time off,so its just me,im very independant and very rarely ask my family for anything so i think they are used to it.
plus i will be stressing on keeping them happy,and making sure they are ok,so its less stressful this way to.

I had my hair done today in the hairdresser to treat myself as with not having a propoer shower - I needed a bit of a lift.

I am sort of in pain.. Its weird tho, its not like unbearable pain, jus uncomfortable I suppose. I got 275cc in my right breast and 300cc in my left cos it was a bit smaller! I cant wait til they settle down now.. Lookin forward to that!!

Just wondering what size you were before the BA and what size you are now after, I am a 32B and my surgeon has said i should have 295 in right and 315 in left, i want to be 32D when finished, he also wants to go under... did you go over or under?

I didn't have anyone come into hospital with me and I was OK. I would've got more worried and stressed if someone had been there with me. I can control how I'm thinking but I can't control other people!

I asked the nurse in the operating room for a hug as well! So emabarassing now that I look back on it. She didn't hug me, I think she probably hears it a lot haha!
