"Any boob job regrets?"
Posted by vixy13 23 September  at  20:48

I had a ba back in Feb with Dr Singh - Transform and am really regretting it now. I had wanted a boob job as long as i can remember as i was a small A cup and wanted to go to a C. I had 380cc overs and am now a 34E and they feel very uncomfortable and way too big for my frame. I suffered after the op with my right breast as i had a haematoma and it was bleeding old black blood for weeks and was very painful. The scars are lumpy and still red and about 8cms long! I am really considering having them removed as i dont think i can go through a lifetime to re-ops etc but i am so scared. I was wondering if anyone is feeling the same? or have had their implants removed and not replaced and what they turned out like? I am worried they will be a saggy mess and worst than what i started with. I haven't come across any sites with info on this. It is really getting my down and i thought this was going to boost my confidence and make me feel sexier and more feminine but instead i feel like i have rocks stuck on my chest, sleeping has never been so hard and they feel so unnatural.

I would love to hear from anyone who has had similar feelings.

"Boob job regret"

I had a boob job at transform in 1999. In 2003 i had a lymph node removed that had come up due to leaking silicone. I have now got 2 more lymph nodes that have come up which i am going to have removed. I am deciding wether to be explanted or have them replaced which i am totally against but most surgeons dont want to just remove them. Wish id never had it done, its caused so much stress and pain over the years.

Im having problems to hunni i had dr singh and i have really bad scars mine are still red and lumpy too
turns out are man singh is not quite the surgeon we expected him to be
all hype thanks to Jordan but now i believe he is lacking skill
my boobs hurt too and im feeling i also want to remove them.
a few people are complaining about his scars as he cuts too deep .I personally dont want singh to touch my bbreasts now i wat a more competant considerate surgeon who can fix my scars and take out the implants and put my boobs bk to normal . Im at a loss as where to go .Not to mention the waste of money and regrets im having now i feel for you hunnni. maybe we should kick up a fuss and get some compensation xxxx

hey,im really sorry to hear that ur boob job didnt go well, sounds like it would be a gd idea 2 at least get them reduced to be more comfy and natural,i guess going from a small A to an E is just way to much of a jump, how come u didnt get the C cup u wanted?i am booked in for mine with dr Khan in on August 30th but u have really made me worried..i am a very small A and just want a full B or maybe a C,im scared by what u say as i have a small frame2,infact he initially sed to me that theres no way he would operate on me until i put on a stone, but now im putting on weight before my pre-op Aug 15th agh im scared

Hi Vixy

I would be really interested in having a discreet chat with you about what happened. I work for the bbc and we are just thinking about getting some info from people who have regretted their boob jobs to see what kind of experiences people have had.

We think stories like yours are more common than people think. We want to make sure that other women who are thinking about getting a boob job have the opportunity to hear all the issues surrounding boob jobs, and stories like yours really help.

I would be really keen to have a chat to find out a bit more about- it would be really great if you and i could have a chat about your experience- you can email me on jess.wiseman@bbc.co.uk or call me 020 8752 4763 - I'll call you straight back.

Thanks

Speak to you soon

Here comes another story about how boob jobs are never the answer, how women are so vain for having them done, how wrong they can go...

Sounds like another Daily Mail/extremely biased TV program coming up.

Jess, I wonder if you'd be interested in making a show about girls' whose lives have really improved since their augmentations? Who now actually feel like women, instead of small boys? Who can now undress in front of their partner/wear bikinis/fir into womens size clothes?

Oh, sorry, of course you wouldn't be. That kind of story would never work. It's just negative publicity that gets the viewers, ey?

Sorry Vix, for hijacking your thread.

I'm having a BA with Mr Singh, I know he's known for liking the bigger boobs. I would definately mention a re op to get you to a better size. I'm sure a 280 would be fine for what you want.

Hope it gets sorted soon my lovely.

You really should go back to your surgeon or speak to some other surgeons for their advice - Dr Scholten was my surgeon in Milton Keynes and he was great! I'm still early days and very concerned that they will never feel like me - and I may regret it - at the moment I don't (despite the fact I look like a blow up doll) i'm enjoying my more femanine figure and hoping they will get softer. Keep talking to people and take some advice.

good luck

"Have you spoke to your surgeon bab"

I'd have a word and see if they'll do anything for you, i know they don't guarantee the size but and E is way bigger than a C.

Tell them that you are very unhappy with them as they're not what you asked for.

Tell them you want them to do something about it.

Worth a try.

"Have an appointment to discuss options..."
Posted by vixy13 23 September  at  22:39

Thanks for the replies girlies x

I have booked an appointment with Dr Singh on 11 Oct as I spoke to my co-ordinator and she said that it sounds like i was mis-advised on the size so if i write a letter of complaint i may be able to have a re-op but i really dont know if i can go through with it again so soon and end up with scars even worst than they are already. i am sooooo confused!! I never expected to feel like this and feel like i have given it enough time to try and get used to them. Need to stop living this booby nightmare asap!!

"Re-op"
Posted by catybag 1 August  at  21:30

Hey
I am really sorry to hear your story. I had problems with my BA and had to get revision surgery. My implants moved and were touching so there was no gap and looked like a babies arse. I too regretted surgery and thought about having removed but in the end I decided to go for revision and see what happened. Now I am 7 weeks post op and things are looking good. I have a gap and my recovery was a million times faster than the first op. My implants might move again as surgeon says my sternum is concave and sits far back. If that does happen then i think ill look at getting removed. Turns out cosmetic surgery not all its cracked up to be hey!
Good Luck with your appointment.

I had a reop recently as mine weren't big enough and one was bigger than the other.

My scars are not any worse than they were the first time round, infact they are still pretty neat.

I think you would get a reop as you are a lot bigger than what you asked for.

If you are that unhappy with the boobies you should get them sorted.

x
