Hi All,

I've just paid the balance of my operation costs to Transform Abbey Pines in Manchester to take advantage of their £250 discount if paid for before 30th September. HURRAH!
I'm 100% confident in my decision, but slightly nervous nonetheless.

Will any one else out there be at Abbey Pines on January 9th?

Sophes. x

Im told Abbey Pines is lovely and the staff are very friendly
Im slightly nervous too but i also know ive made the right decision! I dont think we would be normal if we werent just abit nervous!
Ive got my pre-op with the nurse today so hoping all is well!

Hi Hayley
i'm having Mr. Traynor and my advisor is Cathy Marshall. everyone's been really sensitive and NON-Pushy in the slightest. All my questions have been answered and i feel excited now!
let me know what they do at your pre-op.

Hi me again
Just letting you know how it went last night!
Well it was totally fine!
All we did was go through some more forms, had my blood pressure taken and some pics and i was just given more info, eg, copy of the consent form, list of dos and donts, info about abbey pines oh and had to pay my balance!
I was expecting tests and all sorts!
Actually relaised im more fit and healthier than i first thought! LOL!

Ive found Transform great so far, my patient co-ordinator has answered all my questions too, although i have a few i want to ask the nurse about later!
Where abouts are you from? Which clinic did you go to?
I will let you know tomorrow what happens tonight!

I'm from near Preston, Lancashire. When you say 'clinic' do you mean consultation? i went to abbey pines last week to meet Mr. Traynor and my pre-op is 3rd December.
the only thing i'm concerned about after is not being able to properly wash my hair!!!!! how vain!

Sorry, yes i meant consultation, i went to the clinic in Edgbaston, Birmingham but am having op at Abbey Pines, just wondered if you were anywhere near me, im from Worcestershire
Oh me too! Ive got 2 weeks off work to recover so im hoping that by the time i go back to work im going to be able to wash my hair! My fiance and my mum are going to be looking after me throughout my recovery so i will have to get them to do it! LOL!
