I am 2 and a half weeks post op after having a BA with Harley Medical.
I Was having a feel around tonight and i found a small lump on the side of me left breast.
Is it normal to have "any" lumps 2 weeks after surgery.
Im worried for the worst and scared that it could be more than just a lump from the operation

Hi hun,
I found a small hard (longish) lump on the side of my right breast under my arm around the same time you did actually and i thought the worst, i gave transform a ring and they said that lumps and bumps are very common after surgery and that it was nothing to worry about, but just to put my mind at rest i went to see my PS and he said it was a lymph node gland, and it was due to the surgery, if you do some googling on lymph nodes, you find out so much info! I didnt even know you had glands at the sides of your boobs. Ive still got it now, its not painful and i can move it around so either it is a gland that hasnt gone down yet or scar tissue, i have had the most pain and discomfort with that boob, so am not suprised, i certainly didnt have it before my BA. If your still worried though, go see your PS and he will put your mind at rest.

Hiya! I went to see the nurse at Harley Medical, said thought it felt like a gland but I was not satisfied as she was not very reassuring, so I went to see my own GP today and he also said felt like a gland or possibly a cyst and said nothing to worry about. So that put my mind at ease as was really worrying me. Going to see P/S next Tues to get his advise too but feel a lot happier now that it is not something to serious Thanks again for your advise. Will let ya know how I get on next week. Sarah xx
