I hope i can help. When i saw my patient co-ordinated i was told to massage my boobs with two fingers in i circular motion. I could not understand this as to soften them i assumed you had to put pressure on the implant and pocket to soften them. When i saw my surgeon he showed me how to do it properly and it really works!
Lie down on your tummy on the floor , put your hands on your bum haha and then ... your self from right to left asthough your flying on the floor without wings haha. You do this for 2 to 3 mins. It really works to soften them up plus helps against that caspular thingy. By doing this it massages your breasts and the implant. As it pushes the implant in and out of the pocket so the pocket.
Try it.

I'm just over 2 weeks, when did u start to do this? my boobs are still a little tender to touch and i have swelling on one of them so i'm not sure whether i should start to massage or not ? My PS didn't really seem that bothered if I did massage or not he never told me to, i did ask and he just said i could if i liked. Is this cos I had textured do u think ?

I did not start until i was about 7 weeks but from 6 weeks i was told to start massaging. I would not start just yet! The reason behind massaging, my surgeon said was to soften the breast up and so that that pocket does not harden causing that capsular thingy. All surgeons say different things don't they. I'm still in my sports bra at 11weeks, i did actually wear a wired bra today to go around the shop's to try some tops on. When i was in the changing room i took my bra off and i was horrified my boob was all misshapen, think the wire must of been pressing on the implant. I was squeezing and rubbin my boobs worried it would be stuck like that, Did'nt though went back to normal, propper scared me!!!! Some say wear them, don't wear them. Wish they all had the same advice be less confusing. Anyone else had that i wonder boobie thing with bra .

Just to say that at the end of the day when i take my bra off my boobies are not mishapen as such but are a different shape to what they're supposed to be, i.e if i don't wear a bra all day (like sunday lazing about)my boobies look better at the end of the day.
Quite bizaare really, cos i've checked the wires and they're not really anywhere near the outline of my implants,
I think it may be due to the fact they have haven't softened and settled fully yet
