Hello! I had my BA yesterday, it's fab that Mr Singh doesn't use drains but he does truss you up afterwards!!! I'm bound with this thick rubbery tape about 3.5" wide and very restrictive. It's works like a very supportive bra, it's to keep the implants in place for the first few days which is great. But, it is driving me crackers already! The tape reached up to my throat but my husband has trimmed it down a bit for me. But I keep getting itches, mainly iside my lovely new cleavage. It feels like there's a hair dangling and tickling.
Also, my stitches are starting to feel less comfortable today. How long can I expect them to hurt etc for?
Also, bras. At what point did any of you go and get measured for support bras? I'm concious of wearing the wrong size and that having a negative effect.
Thanks Nichole x

Hi
I had to wear that tape for 2 weeks!! It was a nightmare! The main thing was that i wanted to see my my boobs but i couldnt because they were covered with all this tape!!
However, it does its job though and keeps them all supported and in place....be careful when you take it off....when mine finally came off loads of my skin came off with it!! Go very slowly!
I bought some really good bras from www.treasurechests.co.uk.
They were loads more supportive and really comfy...bit more expensive but they dont rub on the stiches.
I went to get measured after the tape came off....I am a 34c but an ample 34c its great!
I went shopping yesterday and bought this lovely black dress which was great for showing my new boobs off! It was great! I felt like a million dollars!

I had my BA on 10th Dec and am just starting to feel slightly more normal. I didn't have a strap like you describe but a giant tubigrip doubled over which was very uncomfortable. I spoke to the nurse who said I could take it off after 2 days and wear a sports bra. They told me before the op what size to buy and having tried M & S and Asda the Asda £4 one is great and comes in black and white. I now wear a sports bra and feel much better As for stitches these haven't bothered me at all but I do have alot of bruising under one breast which I am treating with Arnica cream.Showered for the first time today and felt much better. My boobs still feel swollen and not quite part of me but are getting better each day I went from a 34A to a 34fullC and had 300cc over round implants
