"Hi tracey" Posted by mp004o6763 19 December at 19:19
I had my BA done nearly 4 weeks ago and i also had Dr Paganelli do my op at the THG, Dolan Park, and thought he was very nice and proffesional aswell. For the first week i couldnt do anything apart from wiggle in and out of bed and just about go to the toilet, my stitches were very irritating and sometimes when i tried to stand up straight it felt like they were going to rip open so for a week i was walking round with a bent back. After Day 8 I found the pain got alittle easier and could start lying flatter in bed and was moving around more although i knew my limitations, even now my boobs are still very hard and tender, especially at night, and when i bend down i can feel slight rippling at the sides of my boobs which i think is normal? although im going back to dolan park for my 4 week post op check friday so ill ask nurse, but i can now more or less do anything apart from hoovering. Just be patient and soon you will start to feel better, it will all be worth it especially when you can show your boobs off in the summer, hope this helps you. Take care Loubee x

"Me too!" Posted by tractorgirl3 18 December at 23:34
Hi, I had mine done on Friday too and am also finding that my bra's rubing on my stitches, more so on one side than the other. I think it's pretty normal, I tried a different bra and found it to be better. x Nic

i know this sounds a bit horrible but couldnt u put a panty liner over your scars?i know people do it with caserean scars so there trousers dont rub on the scar.not sure if this will help as iv not had mine done yet but i might give it a try when i have .

"Not sure" Posted by ss283 19 December at 11:01
I had mine done wi BMI in windsor on fri. Im wearing a triamph extreme sports bra - my surgeon said its the best on hes ever seen and im not experiencing any disconfort with the scars. My breasts are pretty numb at the bottom so i dont know if its becuase that.
Im not sure about the panty liner - if it were me i wouldnt just becuase i dont think you should have anything extra rubbing on the area. If i were you id contact my surgeon as ask his/her advice.
Hope all is well today - i can type better now! I hae seen an imporement in the pain the last 2 days and im not on painkillers anymore. Just feels tight, swollen and numb atm!
Im hoping to go to work on sat..... hummm
