Hi,i'm new to this web site but came accross it when researching info about Dr Russo at transform.I noticed that you were booked in with Miss Hadden for an uplift and a BA.I have had the same as your self on 17th May 2008(just under a week ago). You are the only person that i have come accross that was having an uplift like me the others were all straight forward BA's.I'm looking for some reasurance i guess and to compare notes,as i haven't found anyone to speek to who has had the same op.I notice that it was some time ago now,did you have a "MASTOPEXY" with an implant? you may have read my other comment that i have left on this web site about the fact that i feel i have had to small an implant for my build(had 260g)and feel dissappionted, especaily as i have paid £6,095! cold you tell me how you felt and what size implant you had,i realy need some advise feel as if i made the wrong dessision with my choice of surgeon.I am going to get my dressings changed in morning at transform for 1st time,i need to tell them how i feel, but don't like to make a fuss and feel as if they will say its done and paid for now and there will be nothing that they will be willing to do.If there is anyone else out there who could pass on any advice or experince i would be most greatfull...

"Dr russo"

I've just had an uplift(mastopexy) and a BA 5 days ago by Dr Russo,at my consultation a month before i told him i would like to go to a D cup as i was a very saggy B cup and wanted to go at least 2 sizes bigger,he told me that a 260g would be large enough with the uplift.I took his advice as he is the professional in these matters and thought that he would know best and had heard lots of good reports about his work.I was obviously nervous leading up to the operation and couldn't help but think that 260g C cup just wouldn't be big enough, already being a B cup ,i wanted them to look like implants and a lot bigger, especialy as i am 6 feet tall and a size 12.On the day of the operation i asked Dr Russo to take me to a D cup(not sure what implant size that would be)He said that would be fine, yet when i got home and looked at my discharge sheet i have only had the 260g inplant in and i feel that they are too small,i am wearing a post op bra that is a 36C so there is know way i'm D! Has anyone else had a similar experience,i feel dissapointed and unsure of what to do...to those girls who don't know what size to go,i say bigger the better,it is too much dosh to pay not to be happy!
"Breast implant info"

Hi Vix

I am new to this site but have spent a good few weeks looking into breast implants and have had my consultation already. Some of the information I have been given by the clinic (via the booklet they gave me and the consultation) and the rest I have got from sites such as this. From what I understand the pain varies on whether it is unders or overs you have and how you personally deal with pain. The booklet says breast feeding should not be affected in most cases, and that breast screening is unaffected as the implants are placed under tissue. I have read that they recommend replacement after 15 years but then I have also read that this is not always necessary and can be a way of making money. Yes you would have to pay for this. I am a 32a and the surgeon I am going with recommended I have 260cc to acheive a full 32c. However I don't want particularly large breasts so I am happy with that, although I would like to see some photos of similar sizes. I think lifting your toddler will be very difficult, and not recommended for the first week or so but people on this site who have had it done will be able to inform you more accurately.

I felt my consultation was rushed so be prepared with your questions to ensure you don't forget to ask anything.

hi thanks for your reply.are you going to transform?
ive researched the surgeons there and mr singh (jordan, danielle lloyd and chantelles surgeon) seems to come out top with over 30 yrs exp.secondly is mr russo.
i think there may be a waiting list for these two surgeons so im going to contact transform tommorow to get my name on the list,im quite anxious and only want the best person doin the job,so if i have to wait then so be it.
and regarding my questions ive got a list a mile long for them.lol.
like i say its a big thing and a hell of a lot of money so i want the best job possible and if the celebs use these particular people then they must be top class.
when do you have your op?
are you paying the full amount upfront?im thinking of paying half upfront and maybe taking advantage of the 12 mths intrest free credit to pay off the rest.

thanks for all your helpful info its much appreciated.

Hi yes I am having my op with Dr Russo at Transform (Abbey Pines). I am booked in for mid Feb but this was out of choice as more convenient for me then. I could've had it earlier with him and plenty of other days available with him so you should be fine getting an appointment. I booked it just over a week ago. It was a short consultation with him (the first one was with co-ordinator first) but he seemed very confident and professional. He said he is interested in the natural look. I was very anxious too and even when I booked it it never sank in at first. I have found that these forums really help as you see how happy many people are.

I was going to pay half up front and half on interest free but my boyfriend preferred me not to get credit so I am paying it all upfront, but I think its definately worth taking advantage of their offer if you think you can get it paid off within the year. The actual credit isn't with them but is with a company they refer you to.

The co-ordinator only answers basic questions and cannot answer medical ones. This is left to the surgeon. Like I said my consultation was short and was towards the end of the day so there was a couple of questions I forgot to ask. However, I am a worrier and they seem so relaxed about it its obvious its so routine to them. Hope this helps despite the fact I havent had the op yet!

No the first consultation was with co-ordinator who gave me a choice of 3 surgeons. yes i am having it at Abbey Pines, Manchester. When I saw co-ordinator they were eager for me to see consultant asap (about a week later) but i went on hol so was a couple of weeks. I think they like you to have a few weeks betwen consultation and op preferaby and you also have to have a pre op first too. I am 32a now (Dr Russo said 32a/aa when he looked at me) and he recommended 260cc for a full 32c. By the way, you may want to get some rice when u next go shopping and some cheap knee highs/tights/stockings and a bra in the size you would like as they recommend the rice test to get an idea of your preferred size. However saying that Dr Russo didnt ask which size I wanted, he kind of told me what he thought, but he got the size almost identical to what I worked out so I didnt challenge it. (I thought 250cc and he said 260cc). If you dont have a preferred date then you probably will have yours about the same time as me.
"I had mine"
Posted by sarahmull1 24 December  at  01:04

Hi, I had mine with Mr Traynor at abbey pines onthe 3rd December, cannot praise him enough. I am only a small build like you, 5 foot 3, size * and was a 32B. I had 380cc overs and ended up at present measuring between a 32D/DD. They don't look that big though cos fake ones look smaller than natural apparently. Good luck!

I found Ms Hadden to be very thorough and had lots of time to explain and talk things through, lots of measureing also...
She is lovely and I felt so much at ease with her.
I saw Mr Russo first and found hime to rush things, he also wouldn't go any bigger than 340cc and for my frame size 14 it would have looked silly.
Ms hadden even said this was too small and I had 410 overs, which I am so pleased with, the 340 would have looked pathetic!
I would go and see a couple, you will know when you find the right surgeon..
hope this helps

hey i am quite small 5 ft 3 and 8 stone clothes size 6/8 and a 32 a. dr russo suggested 340 in me which would take me to a c/d but i want to be a d, would hate to pay 4 grand and only be wearing a c bra. i was then bookes in with mr traynor but cancelled as i found transorm totally hopeless and just pushy and rushed youin and out. could anyone recommend what size they think would be nice
"Mr singh?"
Posted by jemima32 21 January  at  22:17

I am going with Mr Russo but I dont want to go much bigger.I am similar size to you. I get the impression he doesnt like to go too big. But I have read on here that Mr Singh does bigger sizes so maybe you could try him?
