I had my BA op 5 weeks ago, and just noticed when massaging my boobs with Bio Oil that I had a drip of something run down my hand, so I squeezed my nipples and then noticed a milk like liquid excreet from both nipples, Im not pregnant or anything like that, so im now just really worried as this has never happened since my operation. Im wondering if anybody else has ever experienced this, Please Help!

I phones up the Hospital Group today, and the staff nurse said this is very common and not to worry as the stimulation to the boobs and nipples can make the nipples dribble with a creamy liquid so thats good to hear, and has put my mind at ease now. Thanks for your replies girls, it really helped. Lou x

Hiya,
I'd call whoever did your BA to check with them - they'll know best. Post-BA does feel like milk coming in or the letdown feeling you get when you're full and about to feed your baby, so perhaps your boobs are mistaking it for that too! If you fiddle with your nips enough I think the body can start making milk anytime so it's probably just a natural response to all the activity going on in there but I would deffo phone and have a chat with them just to put your mind at rest. Let us know how you get on xx

But it was before my BA, everytime i squoze my nipple a milk like substance came out, so worry wart me went to the doctors petrified it was something bad, and she said it was quite normal and to try not to squeeze them...I think its some women get this if they over stimulate the breasts etc and if you think about it if you have been massaging them each day which is something you wouldn't normally do, then this may be over stimulating them... I hope this helps ease your mind a little. I would still either see your gp about it or the surgeon, but I honestly don't think it is anything to worry about.. hope this helps ease your mind. sam x
