"Spoke 2 nurse" Posted by bluemidget 24 April at 17:05
hi, yes i've spoken to the breast care nurse and she said it shouldn't be anything to worry about -she said rippling and bulging can be common or sometimes it means that the implant has moved, got the appt with surgeon next mon so she said wait to show him and just to keep them supported until i see him. she said then he'll decide if anything needs doing about it......not quite sure what that means!!!! I'll let you all know how i get on. - x

"Seen surgeon about it" Posted by bluemidget 30 April at 21:10
ive seen the surgeon about it today (7weeks post op) and ive got to keep wearing sports bras for another 12 WEEKS to keep it supported. the flesh is quite thin there so its the implant i can feel sticking out a bit near where the drain hole was, so i need to keep up the support to allow the tissue to thicken up between the implant and the skin so i can feel less of the implant. he also said i'd have to be careful of underwire for a while after. got to see him again in 3 mths. wounded - the whole summer in sports bras! - blue xx

i reckon you should ring your nurse and tell her as you might need it looked at, i've no idea what it could be but i'm sure you want your mind put to rest about it x
