I had Dr Hamilton from Mybreast on 23/11 I went from 36A to 36D I also had anatomicals and am very happy with them. From my understandin of Mybreast they have handpicked surgeons that want to give woman implants that look as real as possible if you want that kinda fake look, I would go with Hospital Group Dr Ivan Foo and a Dr Payne I have seen pics of girls that have used them and they all have that kind of Victoria Beckham look.
When I went to see Dr Hamilton he said I had to have unders due to very little breast tissue but never mentioned that I had to have Anantomicals, that is just the shape I wanted anyway. Mybreast surgeons wont got to big also is all about au-natural
Hope you find the right one for you
Good Luck Vix

As far as i am aware Vix, Ivan Foo does not work at all for Hospital Group. He works for mybreast and also in his own private practise i believe. Perhaps you meant someone different at the hospital group. Not sure about Dr Payne.
From my expereince if Dr Foo he is interested in providing natural results. Cant fault him at all.
I do agree that mybreast offer a different style of service to the likes of the thg, transform, harley etc. Perhaps Dr Singh is a better example.

"Re: mr foo" Posted by thessaloniki2 11 April at 23:07
Mr Foo did my BA last monday .... you are right ... he is interested in providing natural results .... when I told him that I quite prefered the augmented look he seemed quite surprised although he did take my requests into consideration .... any decision I was happy to leave to him and his expertise ... after all, he is the surgeon ... he knows what is going to look best for you. I personally couldn't fault Mr Foo .... I found him to be very thorough in all his explanations ... he always asked me if I had any questions and always listened to what I had to say ..... On my 1st consultation he didn't tell me of any of the favourable aspects of BA ... only the pitfalls .... & one of the staff nurses told me: he always takes about 2 hours in surgery as he is known for being a perfectionist with his stitches .... I found that very reassuring .... I did have my BA through My Breast but after some online reasearch I notice he also works at other hospitals and cover quite a few different aspects of sugery ... not just BA.

"Hi" Posted by nattynora 7 January at 11:03
Hiya,
Just wondering why you travelled from London to Devon for a consultation? I'm going with Mybreast and they've got 2 clinics in London - one in St Johns Wood and one in Harley Street. It seems a bit strange that you went all that way.
My surgeon is Neil Bulstrode at St Johns and St Elizabeth hospital in St Johns Wood, and he's fine for me to have round implants. In fact we never discussed anatomicals. I'm having partial unders as I don't have much breast tissue either but I'm still having round implants!!! I'm having an enlargement and a small lift as well though due to my bust magically increasing and decreasing in size! I'm a 32B/C and will be going to a 32DD with 310cc partial unders.
My initial consultation lasted about an hour and he had every size of implant for me to try. He was very thorough and went through a check list of info that I should know and consider. He then called me twice over the next two weeks to see if I was OK and if I had any further questions and then eventually I booked another consultation with him. Even though he was running late he was still patient and I got to try on the implants again to help refresh my memory. I decided to book with him and am scheduled in for the 25th feb.
If you're not happy with your consultation, I'd call them and ask to see another surgeon who is based more locally. I know that there's 2 surgeons that work out of the hospital I'm going to - I think the other guys name is Simon Withey and he's supposed to be really good as well.
I wouldnt listen to that other guy as he didnt sound very thorough and prepared. I'd also be worried about a surgeon who "specialises" in a certain implant or placement because I guess I'd always think is he recommending that because its the best option for me or because he prefers that option regardless!
Good Luck, Natalie xxx

Hi Natalie,
I'm booked in to see neil bulstrode soon and have also been pencilled in for the BA on 25th Feb! I am still unsure whether he has enough years experience...what do you think?
You say you never discussed anatomicals; did you try loads of sizes/ shapes in your first consultation? Have you just approached mybreast or other organisations too?
Sorry for all the Qs, aftre years of wanting this its all suddenly got very scary!!

Is that usualpractice to have all that tape. I'm having uplift and undersim March but didn't expect to be taped up like that.
Boobs look great tho! jackie

"Tapes after uplift" Posted by debbie365 10 January at 19:05
Hi,
I've had an uplift with breast implants. I had quite droopy boobs so implants were not enough and my surgeon had to perform an uplift.
Both nipples were repositioned so are scarred all the way round, and I have scars under the breast where the implants were placed. (This is normal)
Many uplifts also have anchor shape scars with a vertical line from the nipple to underneath the breast. Check with your surgeon.
I think it sounds worse than it really is. The scars will fade with time, but they will probably be visible. I didn't want the scars, but my boobs are so much nicer now and I've got used to them.

"Mybreast" Posted by divegal 6 January at 19:26
all that travelling!!1 did you particularly want to see him as its a heck of a long way to go?? To be honest I have found mybreast great-am going with mr sterne- but before that i saw 3 others over the years from bupa and liked mr sterne the bst.
must be that dif surgeons have diff methods. I have NO breast tissue left at all and my boobs are REALLY droopy (am having a lift as well) and I am sure mr sterne said that there wasnt a lot of difference between the round and anatomical anyway!
if you wernt happy I would check out someone else and see what they say.

"Angelica kavouni or mybreast?" Posted by carolyn312 14 January at 16:11
Hi
I'm new to this but have been trying to find out as much about breast surgery as possible as I am wanting to have it done. I recently had a consultation with Angelica Kavouni in Harley Street which was okay. She's quoted me about £4,800 but then I was looking on the MyBreast website just now and see that I can probably get the same service for £4250.00. My only concern with MyBreast is whether you can pick which surgeon you have a London consultation with and also whether the surgeon you meet with is the one who actually does your breast operation. I'd be really grateful for some answers on this and also any recommendations for which surgeons are particularly good in London?
Thanks! Carolyn

"Me too" Posted by nattynora 15 January at 10:28
I'm also going through MyBreast. I didnt pick my surgeon as such but I reckon there'd be no problem with you doing so. When I had my second consultation with my surgeon (Neil Bulstrode at St John and St Elizabeth in St Johns Wood) they told me I could see another surgeon if I preferred to use as a comparison, get a second opinion etc. I was happy with neil so had it with him again but they're very accommodating.
The main thing I liked about MyBreast is that you see the same surgeon from the first consultation right through to your aftercare and I've heard they've got the best aftercare package on the market. They're all also registered in the UK and with BAAPS and other plastic surgery organisations so they're all of a very high quality.
If you don't get to see Neil Bulstrode then I know that Simon Withey at the same hospital is very highly recommended by people I've spoken to.
Good luck! Natalie xxx

"Hiya carolyn!" Posted by becky071 14 January at 22:14
Hiya
Just wanted to answer a few of your questions re myBreast. If you give them a call (the number for the london clinc is on the web page) They will tell you what surgeon works near by in that area. And yes the surgeon you meet for your consultation is the surgeon that will preform the operation. Im going thru MyBreast (the cheltenham clinic) and Im having my BA in March with James Mcdiarmid but he also works in diff area's, so if you give them a call Im sure they'll let you know and they also send you out all the info and credentials of the surgeon to your e-mail address if you ask them!
Lotsa love Becky x

"Thanks" Posted by carolyn312 1 February at 15:49
Thanks Becky and sorry for not coming back to you but I had problems looging in etc. Thanks for the useful tips and advice. I've heard of your surgeon. I first saw him on a TV prog. called my small breasts and me and thought he seemed really knowledgeable and professional. I think you're in safe hands. I was initially in this mindset where i was to emabarrssed to see a male surgeon and only wanted a female. I think that's a silly so now i need to go for the best and most reasonably priced!
Thansk and best of luck for March. You lucky thing!!

"Hi there" Posted by 41315cc 6 January at 18:18
You're welcome to look at my pics
www.picturetrail.com User 41315cc Password 211207
I had 315cc anatomicals under on 21st December which have so far taken me from a 36A to a 36C. I also have nipples which are too far down (think they were/are slightly tuberous as there is not much tissue between the breast creast and the nipple), so this should give you a good idea of what to expect? I don't have any before pics I'm afraid (too embarrassed at miserable state of pre-op boobs!).
Hope this helps.

"Anatomical" Posted by zoey555 6 January at 11:16
Have you only had one consultation?
I am due to have anatomical implants on February 4th and I was told by 2 surgeons that, I'm like yourself I don't have much breast tissue, anatomical is the best implant for my breasts.
The surgeon that I decided to go through said that even though anatomical would be best for me he would do the round implant but it would be a very augmented look. This sounds the kind of look that your after.
I think you need to find a surgeon that you are comfortable and happy with, if he wasn't listening to what you were saying, that would be definite no no for me.
