I've just come across your message and we've both got our BA's on the same day at the same hospital with the same surgeon. I've asked for my op first thing but I won't find out until a few days before.
Regards, Re xx

"Don't worry" Posted by jayne78 13 January at 22:45
hi, I felt exactly the same, was convinced that it would go horribly wrong and I would leave my kids without a mum (irrational I know)I was so close to not going through with it on the day. I am 1 week post op and every thing went well infact if I had to do it again I would'nt be scared at all. It was a really pleasent experience and I am extatic about the results Be brave! It will be well worth it in the end. Good luck. Jayne.xx

Hi Cathy,
I'm having my op on Thursday and nervous. I'm 34 and 32/34 a and having 300cc unders to take me to a full c so that sounds right. I'm a 5"1 dwarf though so secretly hoping it will take me to a small d
Good luck and keep us posted!

"Dont worry - you will be fine!!" Posted by dreaming123 13 January at 20:38
Hi,
Just wanted to offer a bit of support really. I had my op with the HMG at Manchester lifetsyle in November. I was like you, excited initially but then the panick set in! I cried when I left my kids with my Mam the night before and was torturing myself thinking I was stupid for doing the op incase I never woke up, leaving my 2 small children without a Mammy. I cried the 3 hour drive to the hospital and when we were in sight of it I became hysterical!!! All I could think about was my kids, I was 100% convinced I would not wake up!! My hubby had to drag me into the hospital cos I said I had changed my mind lol! The staff in the hospital were great, I cried on every one of them but they gave nothing but reassurance and offered to take me round the theatre etc before my op but I did not want to see it. Everyone kept telling me I would be fine and that people not waking up just does not happen, I knew this was the case deep down but it was the whole thing with the kids that just kept eating away. Anyway, 2 months later and I am here and laugh at myself now for the way I was. It is honestly fine you have nothing to worry about. You are observed all the way through by several people and as it was put to me by my surgeon, because of all of the technology etc they have in there, along with the doctors, you are safer asleep in there than driving down a motorway etc. It is normal to worry but make sure you tell the hospital staff how you are feeling cos they really will support you and make you feel better. I don't know about the size thing, I was not told whether it would be unders or overs but they gave me overs. I was a 36c but had a big uplift and had 350cc. I was told would prob be a DD but am actually a 36 E, some places an F! I would prob agree that you will be a full C or small D.
Good luck anyway, you will be fine.

"Hi" Posted by jemima32 13 January at 20:28
Hi Cathy
I think you really really dont need to worry about the GA or anything going wrong during the op. I really think there is very little that can go seriously wrong during a breast enlargement.
I think its a little unfair that your surgeon wouldnt give u an idea of unders/overs as from what I have read it does make a difference to recovery etc. Did she not even tell u why she couldnt decide until the day?
As far as size goes I think its difficult to say as from what I have seen it varies from person to person and only the PS really has a good idea. I am 32a/aa and my surgeon first said 260cc for a full c for me but then he changed that to 300-340cc. I am having unders though. It also depends on the profile too I think..ie moderate/high/super high profile.
Anyway you really will be fine. I have had a GA a couple of times and it happens so fast you dont even realise. I think everyone worries that the worst is going to happen though so u are not alone there. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hi there, thanks for the reply,
Nope, she didnt give me a reason why, and I really wish I asked, she was a bit difficult to understand because of her accent and I kept asking her to repeat quite a lot so that i could understand her, i think i got a bit flustered trying to take it all in, and then it was a case of when i came home, thinking "I should of asked this, should of asked that etc" Ill let you know what happens x

"Sorry to say this...." Posted by solum 13 January at 21:25
Im sorry to say this and dont want to make you worry but I was treat horribly there and I had Dr Singerova and she told me Id be at least a DD and ended up between a B/C.
Im very annoyed and i was in agony and a Man surgeon RIPPED my drains out and was shouting at me because I was crying in pain.
Good luck

http://forum.sofeminine.co.uk/forum/f52/__f3860_f5-2-Extreamly-annoyed -with-my-surgery.html
Here is what happened to me and I will NEVER reccomend Harley Medical or Dr Singerova to anyone!
Im 5ft I weigh 8 stone and I was a 34A and was told I was having 390cc Unders in and that id be at least a D and im only between a B/C AND they wouldent give me a serial number of the implant size ive got in so I cant prove what size I have!
Ive got no paperwork at all saying ive got 390's in! Im seeing the sergeon on 9th Feb and im going to complain like hell not that she bloody understands a word of english!

"Hi again" Posted by jemima32 13 January at 21:32
Hi Cathy
I think based on the experience that Solum had you need to be firm on the day and make sure u triple confirm the size you want to acheive.
I hope it all goes well for u. I will check throughout the week to see how it went if u get chance to post. Fingers crossed.
