| Thread started by: | "Still cant shower after a week post op!scars still oozing....nurse never heard of "fluffing"" Posted by caffy5 22 January at 20:52
Hi all, Iv been today for my post op 1 week checkup, they took my plasters off and the scars are still oozing-pussy kinda stuff (hope u know what i mean), anyway, i was asked if id been doing to much, but i dont think so, was told i still couldnt have a shower for another 3-4 days because of that!I was so looking forward to a nice hot shower instead of bathing in 2inch water! and to top it off they put more damn plasters on me!! aaagghhh!!
While I was there I thought id ask about "fluffing" that iv heard so much about (because it really interests me this bit) and the nurse said that she had never heard of it! and i was like "No way" and she was like "yes way" lol. I was hoping she would tell me my breasts would fluff out more etc, but no, nothing, so now im thinking i hope to god they fluff out a bit coz otherwise i think im a bit on the small side!
so all in all, things didnt go as id hoped.
Just wondering if anyone else been in similar situation?
thanks cathy x

My PS had never heard of fluffing either so I don't think its a standard medical term )

i had a bit of oozing when they pulled my tape off because it ripped a scab, changed a few colours then healed. it wasnt a great deal of ooz but i did check it out with the hospital (called in) I dont think most surgeons have heard of fluffing its just some Internet Jargon we use lol . I think they would call it Dropping and that only normally happens with unders

not surprised at it to be honest. I went for my pre op check last week and I asked about bloating after GA as I have read quite a few ladies on here have suffered from it. And she said that she had never heard of it!
Dont know if I am correcr but am sure I have read that if you have unders then they take a few weeks to reach potential size!! sure they will 'fluff' up

and there to do a job and they don't really take any notice of the procedure. Mind you she should know that GA causes bloating and so does gas and air. I've still got it and I feel fat. Hope mine fluff to or at least not get any smaller I had partials unders. I have my pre op check tomorrow and i'm a bit nervous coz although I haven't been lifting anything i've resulted to doing things on my own without calling my family like getting out of bed and bath. Well I had to do it in the middle of the night last night and now my stitches are stinging on one side just hope I haven't done anything.
