| Thread started by: | "So worried about cc, sorry to go on about it girls, please help." Posted by sam19671 25 January at 11:13
I have been reading on some of the American forums and got really scared. Some of the girls on there had one firmer than the other and theirs was CC, I thought omg it sounds just like mine etc. Can I ask if you lie on your front on the floor does one of your boobs feel firmer then? Mine does, the other one is fine though. They say to do vigorous massage to try and break up the capsule, so I was doing it all yesterday, squeezing and pushing, they also say to lay on the floor on your tum and rock from side to side to really sqash them and break it up, it did hurt a little and I felt really silly, but to be honest i will try anything.
What happens if it is CC does anyone know of someone who has had it and been successful. I didn't sleep last night and cryed a lot I am so so sorry for rambling on girls just very scared right now... If any of you are at a similar stage post op to me and have one boob firther than the other etc it would be great to hear from you. Perhaps because my left boob was the smaller one and it was restricted, then maybe its taking its time in catching up...I dunno, need all the reassurance I can get right now until i see my ps 20th Feb. thanks for reading this... sam x

You should be massaging 3 times a day everyday with vitamin E oil, it's really thick and sticky but it really softens them up.

I don't know how much help I can be with regards cc, but I read that if it's not painful then it's probably not cc... are you in pain or is it just the firmness of one that's bothering you? Has that boob always been slightly firmer since the op or is it something that's just happened recently? The main thing is that you've made an appointment with your ps and until then babe stop scaring yourself with "Googlenosis" because if you're anything like me you'll convince yourself thay every symptom means your boob is about to drop off! I know it's scary, but worrying won't help and I keep reading that it can take a year or so for boobs to settle completely, and if I'm right in thinking you're not a year post op yet are you? Please don't be up crying at night babe you poor wee scone. Keep us posted though.

Hi Pops, They are not painful at all although since I have been doing the vigorous massage it has been a little tender..silly me eh. My left boob has always been the slower on and yes more firmer. so its not just something that has happened, it was also my smaller boob pre op, so maybe with having the same size put in both there isn't as much room in the lefty. I can squish it together and move it up, down and all around, its just when i push in on around the nipple area with the flat of my hand its not got as much give as the right on. I also had slightly tuberous breasts, so maybe this is also somthing to do with why it is just when i push it in this way cause the tuberousness was all around the nipple part etc... Yes I have got Googlenosis, and its silly cause you read allsorts and think yep its defo CC.silly girl I am... I am not a year post op, just 5 months or so... thankyou so much Pops for the helpful advice.... please keep in touch it helps sam x

I had my ba in July and had overs. My right side (this was my slightly smaller boob)is still slightly firmer than my left.I'm not worried about it though. It looks fine, doesn't hurt and is squishable. I think it's probabley because the smaller side has to stretch more so takes a little longer. This is my 2nd ba, and i was the same last time too. It can take upto a yr for everything to settle completely. Hope this ease's your mind a little.
Worse case sinario they would remove the implant and scar tissue on your affected side and replace with a new implant.
I'm sure everything will be fine though P.S i do the rocking on my front...it really does help soften them up.

Glad to know yours is simlar to mine. When you push them flat towards your chest is one harder to do? Or when you lie on the floor to do the rocking does one feel harder? I can squash mine together push it up, down and sideways, its just wheni go to push it flat to my chest? hope yours is the same. sam x

Sounds like mine. I can move it around fine, but if i lie flat on my stomache i can feel my right side firmer than my left.

Forgot to add, another factor could be, if you had a slightly larger implant in your smaller side this will also make them feel different. One side would have had more squidgy breast tissue and a smaller implant, and the other less breast tissue and a larger implant which will make it a little firmer.

I am relieved to know they sound similar to yours. I did have the same size implant in both sides, so if one was the smaller boob then it kinda makes sence for it to be firmer and slower to soften than the other. I am massaging like mad at the mo and will be rocking on the floor later after work, i will do anything to try and make it soft. It just gets a little tender on the skin with doing it so much... thanks again, please keep in touch, let me know if yours changes any. sam x
