| Thread started by: | "375cc anatomical unders" Posted by jenibaby21 25 January at 22:46
Hey! I've had my consultation through mybreast with James McDiarmid, who suggested 375cc anatomical unders.
I have booked my BA for 22nd Feb, originally I had thought I would have round as i thought they gave a better cleavage, but JM said that anatomical would look fantastic as I have very good anatomy to start with, and they would make the difference between a good result and perfection! Does anyone have any thoughts on choosing between anatomical and round?
Also I'm very confused about cup size compared with cc size. JM suggested 375cc unders, which he said would take me to a D cup, and I know he is the expert but I have read so many different cup size results with the same size implant! Just wondered if anyone had any ideas of what size I would end up if I had 375cc unders? I'm 5ft 6", 9 stone, size 8, small 32B, would like to be a D cup.
Any info would be much appreciated, thanks girlies!

I had 375 anatomical unders 5 weeks ago and I am 5ft7" and a size 10 and I started off a 34A and at the minute I am measuring 34D/DD. I thought I was measuring a C cup but within the last couple of weeks they are really starting to settle and fill out. I am really happy with the size and shape on my frame. Hope this helps a little bit.
Good Luck xx

Hi I had 375cc unders 3 weeks ago and was measured as a c cup by nurse. I am really disappointed as I wanted to be a dd at least. Have you had yours measured professionally or done it yourself?

Hey, thanks for the reply it has made me feel a lot more confident that i am going for the right size! Are you glad you had anatomicals? I'm just slightly worried that they will have a bit more of a sag than rounds, although JM said that with my anatomy that would not be the case. Do you have any pics that you would mind showing me? Thanks again xxx

Hello
I could almost have written that... I am having same size anatomicals through mybreast on 22 Feb. Different surgeon though, Adam Topping at the West London Clinic. I want to go from a A/B to a D, and so hopefully 375 will do it. I am a bit taller than you, 5 ft 8, same weight, but size 10. Felt anatomicals are my only option as I am quite bony chested and surgeon said that round could leave an obvious ridge, which I really do not want. Think anatomicals are best for me. Have you read this

Very complimentry for anatomicals.....

I have had rounds and teardrop shape and think that round are better. I think that they make a difference and give a nice shape. I wasn't too impressed with the tearddrop. I too have a bony chest and needed the rounds to fill it out a bit

Hey, thanks for the reply, glad ur surgeon has recommended the same size cc as mine as it sounds like we are both starting from a similar size and want to end up being a D. Tried to use the link you gave me but it just said error, also tried searching the times online site but had no luck. could you just check that there are no mistakes in it? as I would be very interested in reading it! Are you excited about 22nd feb? I'm really excited but also v nervous, I've never had general anaesthetic before! (i'm 21). xxx

The article is called Keeping Up appearances, although I've never been able to find it on a search on the Times site, don't know why. Ahhh... just spotted what's wrong with link. There is a little - in front of the word women that shouldn't be there. If still problems, here is a good bit from it which I always found useful - teardrop/anatomical is at end:
"The options are vast in number. Allergan, one manufacturer of implants, has about 140 sizes and shapes. But they fall into a handful of categories
Round, low profile Imagine something that has been moulded in a large but shallow bowl a lot of volume over a large surface area a bit like Madonnas natural ones were in the Justify My Love video.
Moderate profile A very popular shape, but if youre skinny, be careful that theyre not too sticky-out, like Victoria Beckhams. Many women worry about ending up with Posh boobs after surgery.
High profile The Millennium Domes. Usually sitting just under the collarbone. Very old school. Very Alderley Edge. Very Kerry Katona. Unless your dream job is at Spearmint Rhino, dont do it.
The teardrop Nature gave Liz the perfect boobs. For those who want to get her classic titties, the teardrop is a breast implant that looks... like a breast. Well done, implant-manufacturer guys!
The rock in a sock This is what happens when silicone is inserted into a bosom that really needs an uplift instead/as well. What is the point of spending £4,000 on a boob job, Jade, only to fail the pencil test?

Hey! Thank you for that, I did manage to find it and thought it made interesting reading. I was leaning towards rounds so that I didn't need to worry about them rotating, also all the pictures I like the look of are with rounds, but I emailed my PS today to let him know what I was thinking, and he is still really trying to push me towards anatomicals! I know they will look a lot more natural but I'm not too fussed about that as everyone will know anyway, I just don't want that Victoria Beckham look! Also I think rounds give a better cleavage without a bra than anatomicals- what do you reckon?

Heya hun
I found this on one of the Mcghan webpages...
'Some other advantages with the anatomical shape cohesive gel implants from McGhan are: more cleavage can be achieved; almost no rippling or wrinkles around the implant; the shape and feeling is more natural'
So Id say everyone has there own oppinion on whats best for cleavage. It depends on what your boobs are like before the BA, if you can easily get cleavage now then I shouldnt think it matters what implant you have. Personally Id go for the anatomical
