please help me- i have been thinking about having a ba for years now as i feel like i still have a girls figure and it gets me down so much. I don't go on holidays with friends anymore as I find it too embarracing to wear a bikini. I am finding it the hardest thing ever to decide whether or not to go ahead with the operation. All ive been doing all day everyday is looking at pictures and reading peoples comments on this forum. I know i must sound so shallow and self obsessed and it frustrates me that i feel like this but its just getting me down so much. Iv not been working and its caused so many arguments between me and my partner as iv not been myself for ages. I would go and get it done next week if i knew that everything would go exactly how i want it to. Just don't know how ill feel afterwards and if il like them or not. Seen so many bad pics on internet sites and it makes me so scared to do it. Has anyone else felt like this? anyone any advice?

All i would say is that I went three years ago for consultation and was told needed BA and uplift. I didn't do it and have regretted it ever since. Three years on I've plucked up the courage and saw the same surgeon and and now booked for 26th March. yes it is scary and yes sometimes things do go wrong for people, but the disasters are one in a minority compared to how may procedures are being done each year. I'll be left with scars which are worse than a normal BA but I've decided that the scars (which I hope will fade) are better than being depressed about how my boobs are now. I'm frightened to death but nothng will stop me from going ahead now.
I would go get a few consultations. I don't know where you live but there are loads of girls on here who can recommend good surgeons.

Hi, pls dont be upset, You sound like me before my ba..I can really understand, i felt exactly how you feel... I was soooo self conscious and embarrassed by my flat chest, especially when wearing a bikini, i was so paranoid it would gape open and flash my boy chest , thats even if i could find a bikini that would look right. On 1 holiday i didnt even wear a bikini top, thats how much it affected me. I had many embarrassing nights when my chicken fillet appeared with strangers once noticing it and pointing and laughing. even uncomfortable with my boyfriend at times, which caused auguments.

I would say... the first thing to do is go to a few consultations,take some pictures with you with the look and size that your aiming for (i did) ask if these expectations are achievable. If its what you really want, i wuld go for it, im currently supporting a friend who wants it done for the same reasons. So far I can say..Its the best thing ive ever done
