Hi all

would really be great to get some feedback from anyone whose had or been told ok to have uplift with implants and full tummy tuck in one operation.

Its weird cos the one surgeon out of the 3 ive seen that has said he has no prob with that (take about 5 hours total) is the one i feel more comfortable with (Erik Scholten at the Hurlingham london SW6)

i dont care about the pain just wanna get it all out the way so i can be ready for summer!

any thoughts??

thanks

"A lot of pain!!!"

Hiya!!!

What you want done, is exactly what i'm halfway through doing!!

When I researched mine, I had 6 consultations with different groups, and only 1 of those said it was possible in one go. All the others were dead against it. I eventualy went through wga, and had ba and uplift 4 wks ago and have got tummy tuck on the 7th June.

I really wanted it done in one go, but I must say now that i've just had the ba and uplift done, i'm sooo glad I didnt.

It is pretty painfull, and you can't do a lot for yourself. My husband had to roll me out of bed, coz I couldn't push myself up!!! lol!!

For me, I'm glad I didn't have it all in one go. Have you done any research or got any info on your'e surgeon, to put you mind at rest??!!

Good luck, hope this helps and would love to hear from you!!!

Hey Shosh

im self employed and just want to do it all and get it out the way and deal with the PAIN and healing rather than go back and go through it all again - yuk!

had 2nd consult with my surgeon today and further one next thursday with op booked on my birthday - ironically - 10th may - what a pressie, eh!

im happy with everything cept they only cover you for a year - after that will sort any issues out but i have to pay for aneathesist and theatre costs - what was the coo with your clinic?

Hiya!!

I no how you feel about dealing with the pain. Thats exactly how I felt at 1st. I wasn't happy with the consultant or the price for the 1 that agreed to do it, so thats why I havn't gone ahead with it in one go!!

It's good that you're self employed in a way, coz of the amount of time off you may need!! ha ha!!

I opted for a year after care on each op. Could have paid extra for 3 yrs, but on top of the op cost and the chauffer service, I decided a year would be ok!! Just hope I'm right!! 6wks post ba and lift, and everythings healing really well, so hope made the right descision!!
