I am now 9 days post op and was wondering how long I have to sleep on my back for? It is proving to be a bit of a nightmare!!!

Also my dressings have been taken off an I am allowed a shower now but was told not to get soap in the scars. Can the scars get wet though?

Any answers would be most appreciated.

I was allowed to sleep on my side after 1 week when i had my stitches removed

im 2weeks post op i can now sleep on my side it is still a bit uncomfortable but i am having a better sleep, when i had my dressing removed afta the 8th day the nurse told me i could have a shower but dont wash the scar just let water run over ure boobs and dont soak in the bath, hope that helps carli mine are healing up nicely.

I couldnt start to sleep on my side until a week ago and im now nearly 6 weeks post-op and i had unders.

I was told you are allowed to get scars wet after 3 weeks and then now i have only just started to wash them only slightly with soap.
